DESCRIPTION
SUNDIAL was designed with a smart solar tracking system with a full
360 degree design, which enables the solar panel to adjust the tilt
angle automatically, and maximize the intake of solar energy. Compared
with conventional solar bollard lights, SUNDIAL increases charging
efficiency by at least 50%. The SUNDIAL solar bollard light is a great
option for outdoor lighting in multiple applications, including: pedestrian
lighting, residential and commercial pathway lighting.

SOLTECH Solar-Powered Turtle & Marine-Life-Friendly Bollard Light

These lights are best understood in nanometers, which is a unit of
measurement that can correlate to the light color spectrum. Unlike stan-
dard lights, these exclude the short, often blue wavelengths by shining
at 580 nanometers, which is invisible to turtles. This also virtually elim-
inates the visible light to fish and marine life because underwater eyes
are best at discerning shades of blue. In coastal areas, turtles can be
disrupted by standard street lights with short wavelengths which mirror
moonlight-and artificially signals turtle breeding season. Premature turtle
migration, roadkill, and driver risk follow as coastal roads are overrun.
To preserve ecosystemic balance, our custom LED chips only emit long
580–595 nanometer amber-colored light. The long wavelength solution
invisible to turtles also minimizes light pollution, protects human retinas,
and preserves the sleep/wake circadian rhythm cycle. Keeping light
within this NM window is the only option, because although standard
LEDs can also produce low Kelvin amber light, they still shine short
wavelengths, while our lights only emit the safe nanometer range best
for turtles, fish, humans, and the night sky.
