3. R
R is an open source language and software environment used for statistical processing while also
providing a graphical user interface. It was developed in 1993 by Ross Yaka and Robert Gentleman. Its
major advantage over other languages, is that it supports statistical and graphical tools. The R
language is one of the best for developing analysis applications because it has a large library of tools at
its disposal.
Linear and nonlinear modeling, conventional statistical tests, time series and spatial analysis,
classification clustering, and many more are examples of statistical approaches. R has a number of
benefits over other programming languages, one of which, as already mentioned, is the graphical user
interface. Data visualization is crucial for data analytics, and plotting the data on a graph can help to
highlight trends that might otherwise go unnoticed. While data from other languages can be converted
into a graphical user interface, R accomplishes everything in one location, which makes the process
considerably simpler.
