A. ACTIVITIES
1. REVIEW
Knowing how your skills, talents, values, and interests translate into
possible jobs or careers. Matching your skills, etc. to existing jobs or
careers. Matching your career goals to your financial needs.
Matching your career goals to your educational needs.
There are three steps that will help us in terms of career planning;
these are self-exploration, career exploration, and matching. In the
previous homeroom sheet, it was explained how these three terms
are necessary to follow in order to know ourselves, our skills,
values, and interest translate into possible jobs that is much suitable
for us.
THE PARTY
1. I would be most interested in talking to people in the investigative
corner.
2. Second, I would be most interested in talking to people in the
realistic corner.
3. Third, I would be most interested in talking to people in the artistic
corner.
MEETING 2 CAREER PLANNING
CHOOSING A SUITABLE CAREER FOR YOU
PROCESSING
1. Absolutely, I only know few jobs so reading the job listed in the
category makes me wonder where I’ll end up with.
5. Well, first in for most it made me realize that there are other jobs
that I didn’t know about until I read the list. It also made me think
about where I'll end up.
B. ABSTRACTION
Choosing from each group made me realize where I’m interested the
most.
C. FIRMING UP
PROCESSING
1. He blesse the first seven as a king, a princess, a count, scholars
and merchants. The second seven was blessed as domestic servant,
a farmer, shoe maker, black smith, tanner, and a seamstress.
MEETING 2 CAREER PLANNING
CHOOSING A SUITABLE CAREER FOR YOU
2. Eve thought that it was unfair that her other children were
blessed as a king, princess, counts, scholars and merchants, while
the others were only blessed as domestic servants, farmer, shoe
maker, black smith, tanner, and a seamstress. Well at first of course
it’s unfair, but to think God’s plan was reasonable, everyone serves
different functions, just like different parts of the body, and they all
blend together and support one another.
3. Everyone has their one role, and their different role will make a
big contribution to the world, and will serve different functions for
different needs.
D.APPLICATION
1. Yes, if we think logically it’s the most mature thing to do. Outside
of a financial crisis in which accepting a job pays the bills and keeps
the lights on, it's best to pay attention to your concerns. If you have
been job searching for several months, chances are you could be
getting a little concerned about landing a good job. When time and
worry intersect during a career transition, the culprit is usually the
fear of the “unknown” that leads to some heavy duty thinking over
your next move. Should you take job that doesn’t really interest you
just to get back to work or continue searching for a job that matches
your interest? Naturally, this is a question you’ll probably toss back
and forth as you search, and the answer will depend upon your
situation. One of the mistakes you can make is taking a job based on
fear of the unknown rather than truly looking at how you feel about
the opportunity.
