Daikin is pleased to announce the forthcoming launch of the fully redesigned vertical air handling unit -
FXTQ_T series for use with VRV systems. The redesigned FXTQ_T series builds on Daikin’s tradition of
setting new standards by delivering a fully multi-position air handling unit with a multitude of feature
additions and enhancements.

The new FXTQ_T series will be offered in two models, the standard model and a Factory mounted
disconnect switch model. The standard model will be built to stock while the factory disconnect model will
be a built to order offering with a 3 weeks lead time.

Main Features and Benefits :

• Expanded capacity lineup – Ten models from ¾ tons up to 5 tons.

• Fully multi-position capable – Upflow, horizontal right, horizontal left, and downflow.
• ECM motor with constant CFM programming delivers nominal CFM up to 0.9” external static.
• Auto Fan Speed function automatically adjusts the fan speed through 5 steps based on
differential from setpoint.
• Up to 200%1 connection ratio expands design flexability to optimize building diversity
• Improved and configurable auxiliary heat logic functionality
• Field installed electric heat options from 3kW to 252kW.
• Designed with less than 2% air leakage when tested in accordance with ASHRAE 193.
• Low sound power of up to 26 dBA and sound pressure levels up to 35 dBA3.
• New PCB allows for integration with 3rd party accessories such as humidifers or economizers.
• Compact, rigid frame design creates a smaller footprint for tighter spaces.
