Embedded systems, found in a wide range of applications from consumer electronics to industrial machinery, require specialized knowledge and techniques due to their constrained nature and real-time requirements. This lecture covers fundamental strategies, best practices, and practical tips to effectively construct and debug embedded systems, ensuring their reliability and optimal performance. b) Objective of the Event To equip the leamers with the necessary skills, knowledge, and strategies to proficiently build, debug, and optimize embedded systems while staying abreast of future advancements in the field. ©) Outcome of the Workshop WOL: Understand Embedded System Fundamentals WO2: To introduce various debugging methodologies, tools, and practices essential for identifying and rectifying bugs and issues in embedded systems. THE OUTCOMES OF THE EVENT AFTER CONDUCTION The participants of the event got a clear understanding of what embedded systems are, their characteristics, and their significance in various industries. This event has triggered their minds about how to build a Solid Foundation in selecting appropriate hardware components, microcontrollers, and peripherals for effective embedded system development. They got an overview about various debugging methodologies, tools, and practices essential for identifying and rectifying bugs and issues in embedded systems. They have learnt the strategies to optimize Power consumption in embedded systems through the use of sleep modes and low-power design. The event enabled the participants to implement effective testing approaches, including unit testing, integration testing, and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, ensuring robust and / dependable embedded systems, The students got familiarized about the communication protocols, cnabling them to design reliable data exchange and synchronization mechanisms, This event has helped them to showcase practical case studies and examples that highlight successful embedded Systems development and draw lessons from debugging challenges. Also, they are able to explore future trends, emerging technologies and trends in the embedded systems field, preparing them for the evolving landscape, The participants have gained a comprehensive set of objectives that equip them with the necessary skills, knowledge, and strategies to proficiently build, debug, and optimize ‘embedded systems while staying abreast of future advancements in the field. d) Mapping of WO with PO and PSO Course POL Pe 10 | POLL Outcome | 70! | P02 | P03 | Po4 | Pos /Po6| ro7 | Pos | PO9 | Po 2 WO! 3 Ake eS ile . 3 3 [sa woz 3 Bega ones See) ol Sar : 3 3 ea ¢) Some Photos for the Report BS Ce etc) Se cum ea Um ea) eee ae oe cl a VA) Kuthambakkam, Tamil Nadu, India paneer alcatel PeSr toca Prec pee heats a gay Dr, SRIGITHA,S.NATH, Proeesr& Head oN Bopateetones Cnet seca Ennetng Cogan Thad, Comal ets T LECTURE ON“ TIRS To BUILD AND DEBUG AN AMBEDDED 2 YSTEm ” '$B20s- jo gm- 12 PM. | Hedda i NEAR £ DEFT 8 1GwATUFE “ 21222106015 b| MageshwovenAY im” 1ECE pv.mog2af g + «+ |j2122210 60262] erivom -G MW [sce yale ae 9122710 60143 Nagerajar R ww /EcE Creal & a. eae ae Sie 8 \\2erelocaons | hvGdmcielel oo ace | 9 Vednw # | | 212221060014) D.dhswnm | ig JECE Def 4 |fecsnges| Mceas | EUS (Eo . 3122.2.0060174 PrvaabosSan-® | T/ece esl | [ataRQ00GoI 74] Lamesa: | w/Kee PAL 12 PiddLoogol9 4, Je Jojoba 5 (ce : 13Z- |p122.2. 0060204 Sonawanan Al W] EcE ee b ae if | dy222e0beo14| AwnRay |e /ecr fend a 23012946 [Viteverajn | [BCE Cees o 2 Lo lisazy |ARIEONANAmF ‘t 24000 928 |A- RAW A Dyk 18. 2.30 12/70 |Q.
