My Master degree provides a description of the effective way of driving a ring of upper

triangular matrices, denoted by Tn(R), where R is a ring with unity. The research affirms that
when the derivation of R is given by 𝛿: 𝑅 → 𝑅, the formula 𝛿: Tn(R) → Tn(R) defined as 𝛿̅(𝑥𝑖𝑗)
= (𝛿(𝑥𝑖𝑗)) for all (𝑥𝑖𝑗) ∈ 𝑇𝑛(𝑅), which is the same derivation of R. Furthermore, the research
introduces and explains the concept of inner derivation of R induced by the formula matrix
𝐴 ∈ 𝑇𝑛(𝑅). Furthermore, the research presents a theorem that affirms that a derivation of d:
Tn(R) → Tn(R), using a derivation of 𝛿: 𝑅 → 𝑅 and a matrix 𝐴 ∈ 𝑇𝑛(𝑅) such that 𝑑 = 𝛿̅ + 𝑑𝐴.
As a result, the derivation of Tn(R) implies it can be decomposed into inner derivation of the
formula matrix 𝐴 ∈ 𝑇𝑛(𝑅) and induced by A and a derivation on R.

Lemma 1 in my research provides a construction method for the matrix 𝐴. It considers

the idempotent matrices 𝑒𝑘𝑘 and shows that 𝑑(𝑒𝑘𝑘) can be expressed in terms of 𝐴 and 𝑒𝑘𝑘. By
analyzing the equations involving 𝑑(𝑒𝑘𝑘), it concludes that the elements of 𝐴 satisfy certain
conditions, which allow the construction of 𝐴 based on the values of 𝑑 on the usual matrix units
𝑒𝑖𝑗 ∈ 𝑇𝑛(𝑅). Lemma 2 is mentioned in my research as a technique to obtain 𝛿 from 𝑑.
Unfortunately, the details of Lemma 2 are not provided in my research. The research mentions
that similar results hold for full matrix rings and special cases where 𝑅 is an algebra over a field
with certain conditions. It also states that the method used in the report is different from
conventional methods and provides a more elementary proof. In brief, my Master research
provides a description of derivations in the ring of upper triangular matrices 𝑇𝑛(𝑅) and discusses
the construction of matrix 𝐴 and the relationship between derivations on 𝑇𝑛(𝑅) and 𝑅.
