GREEK AND ROMAN’S ARCHITECTURE INFLUENCE ON MODERN

ARCHITECTURE

Nowadays, in a world of design and building,there are many types of them,because

they don’t have rules, well they do but some designers just rejet or ignored it. They
believe in freedom of expression for architecture to this kind of new, advanced era
of architecture. It is called Modern Architecture, where it describes architecture
designed and built within the social artistic and cultural attitude known as
modernism.

Firstly, I think that there must be a connection to those three era. As we know
Greek Architecture has a big influence on Roman Architecture, so we could say
that their style of Architecture is almost the same,Roman Architecture is just more
advanced at the matter of style, than Greek Architecture. Like for example, the
column from roman architecture is an advanced version from greek architecture
columns.
So, what do they got to do with the Modern Architecture?

According to the research I’ve seen, there are one or two things from Greek and
Roman Architecture that influenced modern Architecture. Such as, the usage of
column ornaments and structures
, and also the buildings from Greek and Roman Architecture, like theater,home,
palace.

In conclusion, of course Greek and Roman Architecture have some influence to

Modern Architecture. Even so, we can’t just keep makes copies of the old style,
because human change and so is society.
