Use brown yarn and 3 mm crochet:
Start in rounds.

Start with the hair locks. You must do a slst on the
next stitch and continue from there. There are 24 hair
locks in total.
14 Hair locks: 12 ch, 11 hdc from the second ch.
1 Hair lock: 9 ch, 8 hdc
1 Hair lock: 7 ch, 6 hdc
6 Hair locks: 5 ch, 4 sc
1 Hair lock: 7 ch, 6 hdc
1 Hair lock: 9 ch, 8 hdc
Sew or glue the hair from the reverse on the head.
The 14 identical hair locks go on the the backside of the
head. The 6 little hair locks are Kiki's bangs.

Hair Bun
Use red yarn and 3 mm crochet.

Headband: 35 ch. Sew it to the head.

Crochet two, in rounds:

1. 17 ch (16)
2-6. 6 sc (16)
Join the ends of the pieces together and then attach
the headband to the head.

For the middle of the hair bun:

4 ch
3 sc
Sew it to the union of both sides of the hair bun.
