When using TBS modulator cards with kylone here is the brief process
1. Add the source from DVB or IP or local file

2. Create the MPTS from the source
3. Setup the modulator tuners and assign the MPTS to every port
4. Commit take it work, start testing the output signal

Home page you can get the server CPU and Memory Usage status and Ethernet Input and Output status

3. Content Setting

3.1 General Setting

3.1.1 Summary

Here you can see all channels status which process profile it is using and you can click the button direct go to
the detail setting page.

3.1.2 Settings

Streaming Configuration: this is the HTTP output option you can choose which Ethernet used to streaming. our
default mode is HTTP output.
Broadcasting (System Defaults): This is the global multicast output option. You can choose which Ethernet used
to streaming multicast.

3.1.3 Advanced Settings

Unicast/Multicast/HTTP Stream Acquisition: You can set but many buffer time our server will cache the stream
then start processing.
HTTP Live Stream Acquisition: This you can set the HTTP import stream option the connection timeout and
the buffer time.

3.2 DVB Input

3.2.1 Transponders (DVBS/S2, DVBT/T2, DVB-C, ATSC…)

Here you can create manage all the DVB-S/S2, DVB-T/T2, DVB-C, ISDB-T, ATSC transponders, let us create one
DVB-S2 transponder as example

press New Record then you can get this dialog:

If your satellite card is of the DVB-S2 system type, please enter the frequency value as Hz. Then press Save to
see

If you are using TBS Multi Standard Tuner card such as TBS6590, TB6528, TBS6522,TBS6504,TBS6508 when
you lock DVB-S/S2 transponder the Frontend Number value you need to set to 1 like this:

Other mode you can keep the value as Default.


Fill all value then press save, then go to the transponder bottom press Scan button:

after press scan then you can choose the tuner you want to use to scan this transponder, please choose the
one which is not in use:

The satellite tuner waits for a few seconds of scanning and it will automatically display the scan results. If the
signal is good, you will see the following scan results:

after success scan press ok then you can go to All Channels to configure the channels

3.2.5 Tuner Cards

Here you can see all tuner status:

When create new transponder if success scan then assign the transponder to the tuners ,press save then go
back to setting to commit:

3.3 Import Stream Management

3.3.1 Unicast Stream Import

You can input the unicast stream here, press New Recorder to create a new one.
as our server IP is 10.47.48.1 let us take this udp stream as example udp://@10.47.48.1:4001

3.3.2 Multicast Stream Import

You can input the multicast stream here, press New Recorder to create a new one.

Let us take this udp stream as example udp://@239.255.0.1:1234

3.3.3 HTTP Stream Import

Let us take this HTTP stream as example http://10.47.48.55:4750/8000/0/base/stream.ts

after press Refresh if the playlist is ok then you can get the channels.

3.3.7 MPTS stream Import

Let us using one MPTS for test the address is multicast: udp://@239.255.0.1:5002, press New Recorder then
input like this:

Press save then input other value like this:

Save again then go to the bottom press Scan:

wait about few seconds then it will auto show the scan result like this:

Press ok then go to Program List ->View to configuration every channels:

Click one of channel start your configuration.

3.3.8 Local Files Import

Pres New Recorder to create a new one

let us use spider.ts file as example:

Then open the server samba folder with \\10.47.48.1


user name and password is kylone / kylone

Open then go to files folder and put the spider.ts file to it

after this close the window then go back to Content->Settings->Commit to let it work

3.4 TS Submission

3.4.1 Multiplexers

Here you can create the MPTS the channels inside this server, Press New record start configuration:

You can choose the channels you want to use. If you want to setup the TS pids you can go to TS Configuration:

After add then go to Commit page press commit to take effect, wait a while you can check the status at status
page:

The first time if you have not seen your modulator card you can press Scan button it will refresh the page
And list the cards inside the server.

Frequency:
Just need to setup the first tuner the other tuner frequency it auto added 6MHz.
Modulation:
Support QAM_64 (symbol rate 5056.941KSps) and QAM_256(symbol rate 5360.537KSps)
Interleave:
You can try the default value 128-1
Level:
Default value is 0
Bitrate:
Default value is VBR
MPTS Source:
. You can choose the MPTS for every port

You can Backup or Restore system configuration, and you can change the License key here. Be careful about the
Factory Defaults reset it will delete all settings.

If you need put local TS file to the server you can use this. after you put the files to server you can disable the
service.

After set do not forget press Commit to let it work.

In some case you want to check the server status with ping, DNS, HTTP let us take example with Ping:

6. System parameter changes take effect

Any change you need commit here to let it work, after press Commit wait about a few seconds then
