him ripping him apart with their

razor-sharp claws the wife Fights Back

bravely but she too is no match for the

monsters who stab her with their Jagged

teeth as the couple Lay Dying one of the

monsters grabs the baby ready to devour

him just when all hope seems lost a bolt

of lightning strikes Illuminating the

darkness in that instant a powerful

figure named Lord Raiden appears

wielding magical abilities that far

surpass human comprehension with a

fierce determination he babbles the

monsters unleashing bolts of lightning

and fire to defeat them finally the

monsters are vanquished and Lord Raiden

saves the baby boy from certain death as

the wife Lay Dying she asks Lord Raiden

to deliver a message to her son Liu Kang

telling him how much she loves him after

finishing Her speech the woman passed

away years later on a battlefield far

from the safety of the temple a vicious

Army of out-world troops amassed

determined to break into a sacred Temple

and claim it for their own the temple

guards fought bravely but they were

vastly outnumbered and struggling to

hold their ground against the onslaught

of monstrous Invaders just when it

seemed all was lost a lone Warrior named

Kung Lao appeared on the scene

determined to defend the temple and its

people at all costs

as the battle raged on and the temple

to turn the tide of the battle just a

stone's throw away from the battle arena

a loan Out World Soldier sprinted

towards their leader the formidable

General Katana the soldier delivered

grave news of the Army's imminent defeat

prompting Katana to hatch a new plan of

attack she summoned her five strongest

Warriors ordering them to infiltrate the

temple and strike from within but as

Katana plotted her next move a Suave

martial arts actor named Johnny Cage

unexpectedly appeared his confident

demeanor believing his fearlessness in

the face of danger Johnny attempted to

negotiate with katana and her Army

urging them to surrender and avoid

further Bloodshed but Katana enraged by

Johnny's audacity refused to back down

egged on by her cunning Ally Milena who

goaded Katana into killing Johnny on the

spot with the outworld Army closing in

on Johnny all seemed lust but just when

it seemed like Johnny's fate was sealed

a skilled sniper named Sonia blade

intervened launching a fierce

counter-attack against the outworld

forces before long reinforcements

arrived in the form of Raiden and Liu

Kang who rushed to Aid Sonya and Johnny

In the Heat of battle amidst the chaos

the formidable Shao Khan king of

outworld appeared on the scene prompting

Liu Kang to launch a fierce attack

against him but to Liu Kang's surprise

his attack was ineffective against the

powerful Shao Khan to everyone's shock

Shao Khan announced that he had not come

to fight but rather to propose a new way

forward he suggested that the gods

should intervene and oversee a new

Mortal Kombat tournament with the winner

earning the right to rule over all

Realms to the surprise of his comrades

Raiden agreed to Shao Khan's proposal

arguing that it was time to end the

endless cycle of conflict with that

Raiden and Shao Khan departed together

leaving Liu Kang and the others to

contemplate this unexpected turn of

events the scene shifts to Hanzo as

Sashi also known as scorpion as he

relives a horrific moment from his past

where he witnessed his wife and

sunburned to death alongside him

drenched in sweat scorpion wakes up from

his nightmare only to find himself in

the nether Elm it is then that he is

confronted by the ruling god of the

netherrealm Shinnok who informs scorpion

that the key he stole from Shang Tsung's

Temple is bound inside his body Shinnok

orders scorpion to travel to earth and

steal something from a temple but

scorpion vehemently refuses and attempts

to flee the netherrealm in response

Shinnok orders his soldiers to capture

scorpion alive they are rage palpable in

the air

the Lin kui Temple is a flurry of

activity as quietlyang the new Sub-Zero

and smoke engage in intense combat

training despite his impressive skills

Qui Liang still feels inadequate as he

tries to fill the shoes of his deceased

older brother bihan who was killed by

scorpion suddenly their teacher

Grandmaster interrupts their training

session to reveal a new Mission capture

the deadly and Elusive scorpion Qui

Liang sees with anger upon hearing

Scorpion's name bowing to avenge his

brother by killing the dangerous foe

however Grandmaster has other plans

instructing the two Warriors to capture

scorpion alive he reminds them of

Scorpion's lethal abilities urging them

to train harder and become even stronger

and faster before setting off on this

perilous Mission Grandmaster stuns Quail

Liang and smoke with a shocking

Revelation he has been conducting

experiments that turn their long-lost

friend sector and another Warrior Cyrax

into deadly cyborgs with enhanced

strength the situation takes a dangerous

turn when Grandmaster orders the cyborgs

to capture Quail Yang and smoke despite

putting up a alien fight the two

Raiden and Shao Khan make their way to

the Elder God's place to propose the

final Mortal Kombat tournament the Elder

Gods quickly agree but before Raiden

departs he makes a shocking announcement

he wishes to participate in the

tournament as a mortal forfeiting his

God status and Powers the Elder Gods

oblige stripping Raiden of his divinity

Upon returning to the temple Raiden

shares the news with Liu Kang and the

others assuring them that he is still a

warrior at heart despite his Newfound

mortality soon after Liu Kang and his

allies hurried to outworld for the

upcoming tournament but before Raiden

could join them scorpion approached him

and revealed that a key had been bound

to his soul the only thing that could

open the door to the last kamadagu a

powerful artifact that could unite and

destroy all Realms if Shinnok managed to

collect the kamadagu the one being would

be revived and all Realms would be at

risk scorpion begged Raiden to take the

key from him and destroy it but Raiden

was no longer a God and unable to do so

instead he urged scorpion to hide and

choose which side he wanted to defend

whether the forces of Darkness or light

as his family desired

in due time the Earth Fighters arrived

at Xiao Khan's Fortress where the final

Mortal Kombat tournament would take

place they were greeted by Shang Tsum

who informed them that the tournament

would span two days and that no one

should harm another outside of the

tournament the competition began shortly

after and Johnny was the first fighter

to represent Earth his opponent was

devorah a Warrior from outworld despite

Johnny's best efforts devorah proved too

strong for him and he was defeated in

the first battle the second round of the

Mortal Kombat tournament continued with

Liu Kang Sonia and Striker representing

Earth and winning their battles against

their opponents from outworld

however Jax's fight against Quintero

became intense when Quintero attempted

to rip off Jax's bionic hands Jax

managed to overpower Quintero in even

the score by removing two of his four

hands in the end Jax emerged as the

winner of the brutal fight

sector he found himself cornered and

forced to fight but the two cyborgs were

too strong and Scorpion was quickly

losing the bowel suddenly Quail Liang

AKA Sub-Zero arrived on the scene and

used his ice powers to freeze the two

killers however to Scorpion's surprise

Sub-Zero then turned on him and started

attacking him as well as the two fought

a third cyborg one with the power of

smoke joined The Fray and freed the

Frozen cyborgs it was revealed to be

none other than smoke himself in the end

the three cyborgs proved too much for

Scorpion and Sub-Zero and they were

defeated

as the tournament continued Raiden faced

off against Reiko struggling without his

Divine Powers but Raiden's Spirit

prevailed and he emerged Victorious

despite his win Liu Kang expressed

concern for Raiden's safety without his

Godly abilities but Raiden reassured him

meanwhile scorpion was relentlessly

pursued by the killer cyborgs until they

finally cornered him at a temple

scorpion warned them about the danger of

opening the door but they refused to

listen and forced him to do so as

expected the cyborgs disregarded

Scorpion's warning and he narrowly

avoided death at their hands thanks to

the intervention of quail Yang however

Quail Liang was not there to rescue

scorpion instead he sought revenge and

killed scorpion by his own hands but he

had Vengeance on his mind scorpion tried

to apologize for bihan's death and

explained that he was tricked into

killing him but kweliang didn't believe

him and attacked him again as they

fought the cyborgs reappeared and

attacked them both scorpion pleaded with

Kwai Liang to work together to stop the

cyborgs from getting their hands on the

last kamadagu which could destroy the

entire Realm Hui Liang reluctantly

agreed and they made their way to the

center of the temple however kweliang's

distrust of Scorpion persisted and he

attacked him again in a desperate bid to

prevent the cyborgs from obtaining the

kamadagu Scorpion asked Quail Yang to

kill him but only if he promised to keep

the cyborgs away from the kamadagu to

Scorpion's surprise Kwai Liang had a

change of heart and decided not to kill

him but their respite was brief as the

cyborgs arrived and attacked them again

managing to take the kamadogu with them

the tournament in outworld continued and

the battles were getting more intense

Sonia stepped into the arena to face off

against devorah and she dominated the

fight emerging Victorious however Jax

had a tougher time fighting against the

powerful Shao Khan and he was defeated

without Mercy next up Striker faced off

against the sorcerer Shang Tsum but he

was completely outmatched and helpless

against him when Shang Tsung took

control of Striker's body the

overwhelmed fighter took his own life

the mood was summer as the tournament

continued and Lao took on Shao Khan

in the next battle despite lao's

best efforts Xiao Khan proved to be too

powerful and Kung Lao was brutally

killed

leaving Liu Kang devastated by the loss

of his friend and brother in the

following battle Raiden face Katana and

she almost killed him but instead turned

to attack Shao Khan crowning herself the

new queen of outworld however Shao Khan

rose again defeated Katana and captured

her as a traitor Sonya also fell to Shao

Khan in battle but Liu Kang managed to

defeat Shang Tsung despite the curse he

placed on his hand

about the curse and he explained the

in The netherrealm Grandmaster and his

cyborgs handed over the final kamadagu

to Shinnok however they were ambushed by

shinnakas monsters and Grandmaster was

killed in the fight

meanwhile Shinnok began collecting the

stone fragments he had obtained in the

tournament's final battle Raiden faced

Shao Khan but it quickly became apparent

that Raiden was outmatched Shao Khan

mercilessly impaled Raiden with Spears

until he was on the brink of death

in his last moments Raiden revealed to

Liu Kang that his parents loved him very

much this devastated Liu came with

sadness and anger as the tournament came

to a close Shao Khan crowned himself the

champion but Liu Kang refused to let him

claim victory and challenged him to a

final fight fueled by anger Liu Kang

launched a ferocious attack on Shao Khan

with his Incredible strength and fiery

power Liu Kang managed to break the

curse of Shang Tsung and emerged

Victorious against Shao Khan shocking

everyone around

to top it off he freed Katana from

captivity but Liu Kang's Triumph was

short-lived as an elder god appeared

before him offering immense power for

winning the tournament however the elder

god warned that even this might not be

enough to defeat the revived one being

as Shinnok worked tirelessly to gather

the kamadagu and resurrect the

all-powerful one being Scorpion and

quiet Liang arrived on the scene to try

and stop him unfortunately their efforts

were in vain as Shinnok succeeded in

Awakening one being absorbing its power

and triggering the merging of the five

Realms into one the elder god recognized

that Liu Kang was the only one

pure-hearted and powerful enough to

contain the power of the Gods and save

the universe they warned that this would

be Liu Kang's final battle and bestowed

upon him all their power transforming

him into a god with his Newfound Powers

Liu Kang LED his friends to the

netherrealm where they met Scorpion and

quail Yang there they found Shinnok

transformed into a monstrous being

intent on destroying everything in

existence Liu Kang steeled himself for

the ultimate battle drawing strength

from the lessons taught by his teacher

Raven despite all the Lost says he had

endured Liu Kang never played the blame

game and had become the true Chosen One

in a bold move Liu Kang transformed

himself into a powerful Dragon to

confront Shinnok head on meanwhile Sonia

and the other Warriors worked tirelessly

to evacuate the innocent humans in

danger despite his best efforts Liu Kang

struggled to keep up with shinnok's

overwhelming power even the combined

efforts of Scorpion and quietlyang

proved to be futile against their foe

however Liu Kang refused to give up and

launch one final assault injuring

Shinnok and absorbing all his powers

ultimately defeating him

managed to separate the five merged

Realms bringing peace and stability back

to the universe as the dust settled it

became apparent that the Mortal Kombat

tournament had come to an end Liu Kang

and the others returned to outworld only

to discover that Shao Khan's body was

missing however Liu Kang was not worried

knowing that they would be ready to face

him again should he try to take over the

Earth the important message conveyed

through this animation was the

significance of unity in achieving a

common goal
