Hi,

As promised in the pre-arrival webinar on 14 June, here is a follow-up with a Q&A of the most frequently
asked questions:

How can I ensure that all the formalities for my stay in Denmark are in order? 💳
Read about the formalities involved in moving to Denmark in our brochure Getting Started and check out
the online onboarding course How to RUC.

TIP: Carefully read all correspondence you receive from the International Admissions Team regarding all
formalities and act on requests from the team or the Danish Agency for Labour Retention and International
Recruitment (SIRI) in good time.

How can I find accommodation? 🏠

Check out our brochure Getting Started for tips and tricks on how to find accommodation.

You can also find a lot of useful information in the International Students' Survival Guide to life in
Denmark – not least on how to find accommodation.

What is the Foundation Course? 👨‍🏫

The Foundation Course is a free-of-charge physical study start course that will give you a head start for your
studies as an international student at Roskilde University.

This introduction course into Roskilde University and Danish society is golden opportunity to kick off your

What is the Buddy Programme? 🤝

A social initiative with an opportunity to deepen and expand your social network at Roskilde University.
With larger events and smaller events. The larger events count events thematized around Danish
celebration culture, where we have lots of fun, with board games, Halloween, fastelavn (Danish carnival),
winter and summer parties. You will also be divided into smaller groups where you can share experiences,
explore, or party; the buddy group is what you make it.
