Role You are a young environmentalist; you will find out how a single family
contribute to the plastic waste of the Barangay community through an
interview and eventually reflect on the results.
Audience Your audience are the people in your barangay community.
Situation Philippines is among the top 5 countries producing half of the world’s
plastic waste, causing high levels of plastic pollution, especially in
marine environment. Your challenge is to find out how a single Filipino
family contribute to this global problem and eventually create a simple
solution to this problem in the community.
Product All 5 members of every group will conduct an interview of their own
family and their neighbor on the number of plastic bottles used each
day in a week. The data collected will be tabulated, graphed (line graph,
bar graph, pie chart, and pictograph), and interpreted. Each group will
collaborate and will reflect on the results. The output will be presented
in any of the forms given.
Standards The output will be assessed based on Content and Organization,
Creativity, Presentation and Delivery of the Content, Relevance and
Timeliness.
Expected Output:
Data collected, graphed and interpreted with reflection, presented in any of the following
forms: a) printed/ written report, b) Slide Deck presentation, c. Vlog, or d. TikTok.
