Dear Professors,

you right now on behalf of the IIT Kanpur faculty, staff, and students. I want to
say how much we appreciate the excellent research being conducted at your esteemed
university. I want to stress the tremendous potential of our students and their
desire to collaborate with you as a mentor on international research internships
through this letter.

We at IIT Kanpur think that giving our students access to overseas experiences and
research opportunities is crucial to fostering their intellectual development and
global competency. We sincerely request your cooperation and guidance in order to
give our students the chance to pursue research internships at your prestigious
university. We do so in recognition of your illustrious academic reputation and
invaluable knowledge in your respective fields.

The strong justifications for our conviction that this collaboration will be

internships, which could be anything from a few weeks to many months. To provide a
smooth trip for our students, we are open to addressing the logistics, including
lodging, visa assistance, and any administrative procedures.

Research Subjects: Our students have a wide range of academic interests, from the
social sciences and humanities to the sciences and engineering. To ensure alignment
with each student's area of study, we respectfully ask you to outline the research
topics in which you are willing to mentor our students.

Mentoring and Guidance: We place a high priority on the role that mentoring plays
in influencing our students' futures. We are confident that you will offer
insightful advice, frequent feedback, and chances for intellectual development
throughout the research internships. Upon satisfactory completion of the programme,
we would also appreciate it if you could provide a formal letter of recommendation.
