Significance of the Study

This research is deemed significant to the following:

School Administrator. The result of this study will help school administrators in developing or
implementing innovative programs that will reduce the number of non-readers attending their particular
school.

Teachers. This study will help teachers in addressing some students' reading comprehension levels while
recognizing their needs, interests, and varied backgrounds. Additionally, it is useful to the teacher to
help them to consider the importance of teaching reading comprehension skills to their student to
improve their academic performance.

Parents. This study will help parents in educate their children/child about the possible consequences of
poor reading comprehension, which could have impact to the students' academic performance in
school.

Student. This study will help the student to provide valuable information to enhance their own learning
skills and level of reading comprehension. The study's findings will help students improve their reading
comprehension by making it clearer to them how important it is to understand what they are learning in
the lessons and activities they are given. This level of comprehension may result in improved academic
performance.

Future Researchers. This study will be helpful to other researchers looking for a research guide.
Furthermore, they might include this study as a component of their research into the level of reading
comprehension.
