Abstract

Describe the subject, aim, implementation, methods, materials, and results of the degree thesis.
The abstract should contain about 200 words. Keep in mind that the abstract gives readers a
chance to decide whether the thesis is interesting enough to read. Write in complete sentences
and improve readability by using paragraph division. The abstract should be written in past tense.

The abstract should be placed after the title page.

If Applicable: The Finnish abstract is entitled Tiivistelmä and the English Abstract. If Applicable:
They are written according to the same model and principles as Swedish, each on separate pages.
The content of each abstract in different languages should be the same, but for the sake of
flexibility, they should not be direct translations.

Specialisation is left out if there is none.
