The advantages of globalisation are, in principle, visible to the uninitiated.

Technology is one of the advantages of globalisation. It has developed quickly over the
years. Another positive aspect is telecommunications. They eliminate distances and
physically bring people from all parts of the globe closer together.
On top of the positive aspects of globalisation, there are, of course, also negative
aspects. We can see, first of all, the growth of inequality internally and externally. On the
side, the spread of arms and international crime has increased dramatically. Crime and
terrorism are therefore negative consequences of globalisation, particularly as a result of
the technological revolution, electronic transfer, free access to the Internet and
sophisticated telecommunications technology.
An important aspect of globalisation is the cultural dimension of living in poor as well
as rich communities. There are exceptions, that is, individuals, groups and communities
who, although living in poverty, try to overcome it through culture, learning, book learning
and continuous information, but there are also communities with high economic standards
that have no cultural needs, the fundamental values being the accumulation of material
goods, money and wealth in various forms.
Strong cultural identities can, in turn, make societies participate with more
contributions to their benefit, turning globalisation trends into positive effects, and at the
same time protecting themselves from cultural unification.
