Executive Summary
This summary has been written for the betterment of its readers about a company name geofman
pharmaceuticals, whose aims and scopes are to provide best medical facilities to the people of
the world.
In doing so Geofman pharmaceuticals had found difficulties in providing services to the outskirts
of karachi, as they are majorly based in the city of karachi and advent of covid and inflation has
also been a great menace for them. These were the issuesfaced by the staff that they had to attend
the site regularly. It was really a strenous job to reach the office in covid times but with the help
of modern technology and their hardwork with extreame dedication they were able to overcome
the problem and the other problem was also solved by improving the version of logistics.
As we all know the medicine market is a big hub and with big market comes competitors, but
with great efforts of employes of geofman they had an yearly sales of about 5 crores
domestically and 5 crores internationally.
They had increase their visit to local general physician. Increase sampling, so that their product
can be more commanly be seen in the market. Providing occasional gift to the local doctors.
They were inviting local GP to their seminars and infatuating about their product. Inviting
doctors to the local retaurants and serving them lunches and with it presenting their product in
the form of presentation.
However, they were generally improving in yearly sales, both domestically and specially in
international market and with each day taking great care of their market of production and in the
last but not the least ,visit to the geofman had been a great pleasure and a great source of learning
for us all and so we have a tendency of urge to whoever reading this report must and should visit
Geofman pharmaceuticals.

1) Permanent (main staff)
2) Temporary (secondary staff)
There were a total of 110 permanent employees and about more or less 300 temporary staff
and the total population in Geofmen pharmaceuticals comprised of 400+ staff.

We found out that they were basically a medicine company. We were told that they had an
expertise in making digital tools needed in surgery. They were making drips of high quality
for the patients. They had separate ointment section and the government authorities were
their potential buyers so mainly their equipmentwere used in government sector hospitals.

Most challenging projects have been managed so far and steps taken by him.
The most challenging ones have been those that are located outside Karachi. We found great
difficulty in execution since we were not physically able to visit the site to witness/address
changes. We managed the project by assessment on our periodic visits and were able to read the
drawings carefully.
Our company designs and supervises projects based on Client’s requirements. We work on a
specific methodology. Every project is headed by a Director who nominates Senior and Assistant
Engineers to work on project. The project is divided into stages where work is done according to
milestones set by Client and our Project team together.
4
Geofman’s most successful project or task by appropriate planning and
organizing.
Our most successful project was one where we are able to handover a pharmaceutical facility in
complete accordance to our Client’s requirements. Our supervision and handing over was
completed in time to allow Client for a timely inauguration of their facility.
Biggest mistakethat had been committed, and its impact to approach to work.
One of the biggest mistakes was that I was not trained for the project expertise I was expected to
take care. Which resulted in financial implications? The mistake was taken care of by my
seniors. But I had to re-work another 06 months to make my management trust me with medium
to large-scale projects.
In our pharmaceutical industry there is no space for critical and serious mistake by manages,
Scientist and ordinary workers. So we are very careful to avoid any mistake so that no serious
incident could happen.
Customer is then briefed on the situational build-up that occurred during the projects. Plus, with
the material issue, we ensure added warranties from the suppliers so that the Client is satisfied
with the execution. We try not to spread this type of situation because we have a team which
keep monitoring on all procedure in industry.
