PART 1: ESSAY

In regard of a recent discussion about which form of renewable energy would be best for a tourist
island, I will put forward the two main ideas that had been displayed during the dialogue and I will
outline its benefits and disadvantages.

First of all, it goes without saying that solar panels are a significant development for the ecosystem
of our planet. It allows to consume energy without polluting the environment. What´s more, a
recent study has shown that as solar panels are reducing the pollution in the atmosphere, there
has also been an increase of the ozone layer which is currently something vital for our health.
However, scientists who have indulged in this new system of energy have stated that we could not
be hundred per cent powered by solar panels and that more and more improvements should
come.

On the other hand, regarding nuclear power, it could be argued that it plays an important role for
our society. Since the end of World War Two, a whole load of scientists have been studying this
new form of renewable energy and its uses to benefit the worldwide population. According to
specialists, nuclear power is a sustainable energy source that not only reduces carbon emissions
but it also helps to reduce the use of energy in the industries. Nevertheless, according to some
terrible experiences in the past, we should all be careful about this because it can provoke a
nuclear disaster.

Having stated these arguments above, it can be concluded that solar panels would be the best
renewable energy for a tourist island.

PART 2: REVIEW

Museum of History: An Incredible Experience

Last weekend, I visited one of the most prestigious museums of the world. Never before have you
seen such an amazing display of the history of the world as you will see in the Museum of Louvre
in Paris.

When you enter the building, there is a big statue of an important person for the French people
and it has a big fountain surrounding it. There is also a receptionist who gives you a manual in
order to visit every area of the museum and the cost is only five dollars per person. It has four
areas: the first one is about the Ancient cultures and the days before Christ, then the second are is
about the Medieval Age, the third one is about the modern world and finally the last one is about
the contemporary age. Moreover, there is a big café and a two luxuries restaurants which are
cheaper if you want to eat.

I was totally impressed by many of the sculptures that are in display in every area and what I liked
most is the interesting details made in them. Besides, I have to say that people who guide this tour
inside the museum are really prepared for it and their knowledge is spectacular.

I would strongly encourage you not to miss any of the explanations because then you might get
lost. Overall, I would recommend you to visit this place.
