How To Sell With WhatsApp Groups Using a

Proven 8-Step Formula

With what I know about marketing, I know that if you can put a
group of people who are interested in something together,
then you can sell to them.

Whatsapp groups are a great way to sell to people because it


creates an event feeling. It helps you to sell from the stage like
a speaker selling to attendees of an event like a seminar.

The only difference is you are not actually on a stage. You are
doing it from your WhatsApp. But there is one reasons I don’t
like about selling via WhatsApp groups.

This is because members of the group can actually view and


have access to the contacts of other members, it gives them a
chance to start linking up and making unnecessary connections
that might not be good for your promotions.
But despite this reason, WhatsApp groups still perform very
well as a way of getting a lot of sales fast because it allows
you to communicate with many people at the same time as
opposed to communicating with one person at a time.

Then, a WhatsApp group event can’t be too long. You should


get the event done within 1hr at most. So, how do you sell
via Whatsapp groups?

The first thing you have to know is what I started with.

You sell on Whatsapp groups via events - usually in the


form of training or a presentation.

So, basically, you gather people who are interested about a


particular topic into a Whatsapp group and at a fixed date
and time, you make your presentation to them and at the
end of the presentation, you make them an offer with a
deadline.
Also, you don’t have to be the one to do the presentation.
You can invite another person to do it and just do the
introductions.

So, let’s say I want to sell the “Smartphone Graphics to


Millions” product on Quick Cashout, I can come up with a
topic like “How to Bank Over $200 creating professional
designs with a Smartphone” which will be delivered within a
WhatsApp group on a specific date and time.

For this event, I can also invite a speaker that will do the
main presentation. What I will just be doing there is more
like an interviewer to direct the conversation.

Then, when people show up for the event, I will simply


introduce the speaker.

E.g. so, let me introduce the man who will be showing us how to
Bank over $200 with Smartphone Graphic Design”
His name is Mr. Haris Ben Said and he has been making 7 figures
consistently with this skill.

Today, not only has he made 7 figures for himself, he has trained
over 2000 people in about 5 countries and his students are doing
perfectly fine.

Isn’t that wonderful? Mr. Haris Ben Said, can you please tell us how
you were able to generate 7figures with Smartphone graphics?

Let’s now go into the nifty gritty of how you can sell on
WhatsApp.

The first thing to do is to decide on what you want to sell.

Since we are talking about selling affiliate products, you have to


select a product that is very promising from Quick Cashout.

If it is a product you have used, great.

If not, then you can still use this technique too.

A good way to sell via WhatsApp if you are promoting a product


you haven’t used before is to invite a guest, someone who has
used the product or the product creator.
So, let’s say you want to sell the Quick Cashout Affiliate
Program and you haven’t really used it to make money and you
want someone else to help you, you can invite another affiliate
who is already making a lot of money with the program.

Or you can invite me, the product creator, to do the


presentation

(You’ll have to fill at least 200 people in your whatsapp


before inviting me.)

Once you have the product you want to sell, it is time to follow
my proven 8-Step system for selling on WhatsApp groups.

These are the 8 steps involved:

STEP 1: Set the theme or title for the event

STEP 2: Create a group for the event

STEP 3: Invite qualified people to the group - set date and


time

STEP 4: Drop presale content to warm people up to the event


STEP 5: Remind them a few days and hours to the event

STEP 6: Make the Presentation using a Script

STEP 7: Answer questions

STEP 8: Follow up on Offer

Let’s go into each step one after the other.

I will also be using examples so that you can really get it.

For this particular training, I am going to use the Quick Cashout

Affiliate Program as the product I am selling.

So, we start with step 1 which is:

STEP 1: Set the Theme Or Title For The Event


This is the topic for the event.

More like the topic for a seminar or a paper presentation.


It should give people an idea of what they should expect when
they attend the event. Then you can call the event any of the
following:

- A class

– A Training

Since the product I am selling is the Quick Cashout Affiliate


Program, I could use any of these titles for the Whatsapp:

So, let’s go to step 2 which is:

STEP 2: Create a Group for the Event


This is basically setting up the group on WhatsApp. This is easy
to do.

To create a WhatsApp group, here are the simple steps to


follow:

1. Open WhatsApp

2. Tap more options> New group

3. Search for or select contacts to add to the group (you can


just add like 1 contact from your phone for now). Then, tap
next.

4. Enter a group subject.

5. Tap Create when you're finished.


That is all. Nothing complex there.

After you have created the group, make sure you change the
group admin settings so that people won’t be playing around
and spamming the group.

This is how you change the group admin settings:

1. Open the WhatsApp group chats, and then tap the


group subject or title at the top.

2. Tap Group settings > Edit group info.

3. Choose to allow All participants or Only admins to edit the


group info.

4. Tap OK.

Once you are done with that, move on to Step 3 which is:

STEP 3: Invite Qualified People to the Group - (set date and


time)
This is when you begin to drive traffic so that people can know
about the Whatsapp group training and register.

The first thing you should do is to set a date and time for the
event.

I like to have the event within 5 days from when I start


promoting it.

The reason is, I don’t want people to forget about it if the date
is too far away.

I also like to set the time to when they are not likely busy or at
work.

So, for instance, if the date is on a Sunday, I won’t put it


between 9am and 12pm when most people who are Christians
are probably in the church.

Once you have set the date and time, the next thing to do is to
create an ad for the Whatsapp event.

Nothing big here.


Since you have already created a title for the event, you can
simply use that.

E.g. On 18th of March, I am holding a special training with Haris


Ben Said who is making an average of 100k weekly with Quick
Cashout Affiliate Program. The training will be via WhatsApp.

I believe you get the idea.

You can create various variations of the advert you will be


using to invite people.

You can invite people from your social media

Send a broadcast to invite people who are already on your


WhatsApp list

Use it as your Money Magnet etc

There is one important thing though.

Since WhatsApp groups can only contain 1025 participants at a


time, you should try as much as possible to only attract
qualified people to the training.
Qualified people aka People who are interested and have
money to spend.

You can ONLY send the WhatsApp group link to people who are
qualified.

But either they are qualified or not, make sure you add people
to WhatsApp groups.

Ensure they join themselves.

Then either they are qualified or not, if the person is not on


your Whatsapp list already, make sure you save their contact
and make sure they save yours too

If you already have the people you are inviting on your


Whatsapp contact list, then you can send them a link to join the
group directly.
Never add people to a Whatsapp group without their consent.
It is stupid and amateurish behavior which might get your
Whatsapp banned when many people start to report you.

To Invite People into groups via links, follow this instruction


below:

1. Open the WhatsApp group chat, then click the group subject.
You can also click Menu ( or ) in the top corner > Group info.

2. Then, click Invite to group via link.

3. Then, Choose to send link via WhatsApp or Copy Link. If


sending through WhatsApp, search for or select contacts, then
click Send.

Let’s move on to the next step.


STEP 4: Drop Presale Content to Warm People Up to the
Event

Now that people have registered for your upcoming Whatsapp


group event and you have added them, it is time for you to
start warming them up.

What do I mean?

You can’t just leave people in the group and wait till the event
before you start engaging them.

That will be a mistake

If you want to get their full attention and interest during the
event, you have to drop certain content within the group that
will get them hyped up for the main event.

This type of content has to be useful, valuable and entertaining


content in form of:

- Awesome tweets

- Quotes

- Short write ups


- Short pdf reports

- Short videos

- Samples from the main product

And USE FASCINATIONS TOO.

E.g. let’s say we are promoting the Quick Cashout Affiliate


Program, we can say something like;

Do you know there is a WhatsApp sales script that get you 1- 5 sales
within the first 24 hours of signing up as an affiliate on Quick

Okay, let’s move to the next step.

STEP 5: Remind them a Few Days and Hours to the


Event
The next step is to remind them about the event.

Actually, you can also do that with the contents you are
dropping under step 4.

The best way is actually by using Fascinations + Reminders Like


what I did here:

Let’s move on.


STEP 6: Make the Presentation (Using a Script)

Voila!

This is now where the selling is going to take place.

So, let’s say you set 7pm for the event.

It is time to take charge.

What do you say?

How do you manage the event?

This is where people usually fuck up.

And the main reason why they fuck up is because they didn’t
plan for it.

If you are going to have a successful presentation and do it


fast, you MUST have scripted everything down before the event
starts.

This way, when the event starts, all you are doing is cutting and
pasting from your script. Then, you will also be asking for some
responses as you go along.
But how do you go about the script? When it is time to deliver
the main content for your event on Whatsapp, this is how you
break it down:

1. Close Group - Since there is no button you can press to mute


people, you can close group to allow just admins to send
messages until you are done with the presentation or you
request for a response.

2. Introduce the topic, what to expect etc - Once you have


muted them, it is time to introduce the event and the best way
to do this is by reminding them of what they stand to gain by
paying attention.

You can even give them a list of what to expect.

3. Introduce yourself or the other presenters - The next thing


is to quickly introduce yourself to the people in the group and
why they should listen to you. If you have to bring another
person(s) to be the presenter, then this is the time to introduce
the presenter and why people should listen to him.
E.g. Mr. Ngu Caleb is a 21 year old student who is making
an average of 100k a week on Quick Cashout. Actually last
week, he made 162k and he will show you his special
strategy he is using to achieve these great results.

4. Get responses - Now, this part is something you have to be


careful about. As you are going through the training, it is always
a good idea to elicit responses so that it will be like a 2-way
conversation.

For example, after you have introduced the presenter, you can
and open the group and say:

It is now time to get into the main content. Are you ready? If
you are ready, please type on “BRING IT ON” or something
like that.

Then wait for like 4 minutes for them to respond. Then you
close the group and move on to the next part.

5. Deliver your content into steps and use stories - Now is the
time to give them the content they came for.
If you are the presenter, this should be well scripted out. Same
thing if it is another person doing the presenting.

From experience, I have realized that people consume content


better when you break it down into steps, formulas, secrets etc

E.g. 3 secrets for making your first 5 sales on Quick Cashout


within 24 hours.

Then always use stories.

Stories make the presentation entertaining.

Then you should also use stories as a means of tackling people’s


objections.

For example, for the Quick Cashout Affiliate program, one


objection people might have is - “Can I do this without any
business experience?”

Since you would have anticipated that, you or the presenter


can tell your story of how you initially thought you wouldn’t be
able to succeed with it since you have never tried any business
before.
Also, since you are copying and pasting from your script, you
have to do this gently.

Don’t copy and paste large chunks of content. Post contents


little by little.

A simple rule is that each post on Whatsapp shouldn’t be more


than 50 words.

Then use a lot of white space.

Make the text very easy for them to read.

Then, use images in between if needed.

Your images for testimonial purposes

Income screenshots

Before and after pictures

Etc

All of these images are what you must have found and added to
your script before the start of the class. Don’t start looking for
images when the training is going on.
6. Make your offer - Finally, once you have delivered the main
content, it is time to transition into the pitch.

This is where you make them your offer.

But in order to do this transition, you can give them a question.

The question will lead into the pitch.

It is a question that is based on the IF, THEN formula.

E.g. If you would like to start using this same system I use to
make 100k per week with my Smartphone, then, let me tell
you how you can get started fast.

So, the question (the IF part) goes like this.

If you would like to start using this same system to make money
within 48 hours, I want to share something extra helpful with you.
Type “I am ready”

Then once they respond.

Simply tell them about the offer you have for them.
E.g. Okay, that is good.

I like the fact that you guys are ready to start.

So, one of the main problems I had when I started this


business was that I didn’t have someone on standby that

So, those are the 6 steps for making your presentation during a
WhatsApp event and you can use it for any type of topic.

Once you have made your presentation and your offer, it is now
time to go to the next step which is…

STEP 7: Answer Questions

It is now Q and A time.

To be frank, this is when you will get many sales

And that is because you will be responding to the questions


that people have and as you respond to them, it becomes
clearer and easier for them to buy into what you are
promoting.

The question time can be longer depending on the participants.

And there is something else.

You can use the questions people are asking to improve on your
script so that the next Whatsapp event you are going to have
will be much better.

But people can be funny.


Some will be repeating the same question you have already
answered.

In such cases, just tell them to check.

Once you realize that there are no more serious questions, it is


time to close the event and remind them of the offer you
made.

STEP 8: Follow Up on Offer

After the event, many of the people who attended will also chat
you up in the DM for some questions or favor etc.

Attend to them.

Also, you shouldn’t just disappear from the group after the
event.

It is always a good idea to remind them of the offer you made


before the deadline you gave expires.
For example, if you gave a deadline of 3 days, then you should
be doing some follow ups in the group until the 3 days have
expired.

Nothing serious there.

Something like this:
