THE LENTEN SEASON

One of the most important days during the Lenten

season is Good Friday. Most of the families go to
church in San Diego De Alcala Polo Parish church. The
Sacristan is prepared for the Crucifixion Re-enactment.
This is a unique way for the Catholics to commemorate
the sacrifice of Jesus Christ until he died.
 SACRIFICE FOR SAKE OF FAITH

Day Mercado was a 28 years old ma from Bangkulasi

Navotas. He was doing it to Confess and repent for
all of his and his family's wrongdoing. He go to
Bangkulasi every Holy Thursday to make penitence.
He did some fasting and confessional cleaig before
doing this. He has a deep desire to show his trust in
Jesus Christ. He acknowledge the act of sacrifice for
the sake of faith.
 PEANUT FOR GOOD LIFE

Mr. Hilario Cruz a 32 years old peanut vendor. He

is living in Tugatog Malabon near by the church. He
is selling peanut to the people in church. He is
selling peanut to the people in Sangandaan
Sacred Heart of Mary. He is doing it for three years
now for the needs of his family and children. His
strong faith and devotion set him apart from the
other vendor.
