Dear HR Team

In connection with the vacancy announcement in your career portal, I would like to write to you that
I am extremely interested in your open vacancy for the position of Partnership Officer and I believe I
have the skills necessary to truly excel in this role. I have a history of project management,
monitoring, budget management, office duties, and maintaining confidential information in line with
improving filing systems to run more efficiently and confidentially.
In my recent position with DCVAW (a private KRG police unit specializing to combat violence against
women), I was a bullet point to manage and coordinate the UNHCR-funded project, hence we cov-
ered camp and none camp areas over the Iraqi Kurdistan region.
Through the years I was in charge of coordinating between the government bodies, and GBV project
stakeholders to advocate for the GBV survivors to provide the necessary services in line with deliver-
ing the technical and logistic support to the offices and units we have in refugee and IDP
camps.  Nevertheless, I also supported enrollment capacity building of government staff, in line with
writing proposals, and designing the budget for the different donors including UNHCR, UNICEF,
UNFPA, and UNDP…etc. 
Despite what is done we are also expected to do interpretation and translation when needed. This
position was quite challenging however I’m incredibly proud of the work we have done to help the
people of concern especially females in need to eliminate gender-based violence and sustain gender
equality. 
As part of my career journey, I worked with other NGOs including IRC to deliver non-formal English
language training to the refugees settled in Basirma Camp.
Back to the point, I have bachelor degree in English language and literature at university of Soran
started in 2012 and successfully completed with an excellent degree at 2016

With the being mentioned, I’m sure my knowledge, skills, education, and honorable experience that
I have gathered will support me to take the position of Partnership Officer.
