Program Implementation

 Manage and coordinate UNHCR and DCVAW


partnership project activities, from substantive,
administrative and financial points of view, ap-
plying strategic planning and systematic coordi-
nation of project activities with UNHCR staff
and committee staff.
 Achieve day-to-day project implementation and
overall coordination of project outcomes by do-
ing field visits from administrative supervision
prospective and to ensure the necessary tools
and instruments are in place.
 Ensure training and supervision of DCVAW’s
committee members and ensure effective com-
munication and coordination between the DC-
VAW and the UNHCR.
 Facilitate communication with the UNHCR

ties of both mobile teams and fixed units, using
the template validated by UNHCR in English
language. Prepare the project progress reports
(progress against planned activities, update on
risks and issues, expenditures), review report
and final review reports, and submit them to
UNHCR as appropriate.
 Improve the reporting skills of DCVAW FP
and planning department by providing training
and coaching on how to write formal reports as
per UNHCR’s standards.
 Enhance the reporting skills of DCVAW staff
by providing training and coaching on how to
write formal reports.

Case Management:

 Provide age-appropriate and survivor-centered


GBV case management services to survivors of
GBV and vulnerable women and girls, in line
with the Inter-Agency GBV Case Management
Guidelines, including assessment of survivor’s
needs, basic counseling, support to develop and
implement a care plan, support and implement
safety plan, and support to access services in

line with client’s wishes.


 Lead GBV assessments to identify DCVAW
and risks of GBV and assess gaps to inform re-
sponses;
 Enhance multi-agency and multi-sectorial coop-
eration and coordination, government, other
NGOs and UN agencies to establish and
strengthen appropriate GBV referral systems
for survivors to access services in a timely and
confidential manner;
 Participate in regular case review meetings,
case discussions and coaching sessions.

Good communication skills acquired during my experience as a


coordinator, since I was appointed as a key focal point and head
of the delegation to discuss the planned activities and budget
needs fro, DCVAW side on UNHCR funded project.

MANAGERIAL SKILLS
Organizational/managerial skills Leadership: in my last role as project coordinator between DC-
VAW and UNHCR funded project I was responsible to lead 14
mobile team units (each of team composed 3 team members)
were asked to take lead of weekly and monthly plan to target
people of concern and to achieve the project overall objective
which mainly was response and prevention activities amongst
IDP, Refugee and Host communities.

During my role, I was also asked to give feedback about the


gaps in the field so we can target and enhance the capacity of
the staff by conduct capacity building activities on quarterly ba-
sis.
