- Write a deductive and an inductive argument and label the premise(s) and conclusion(s).
o Deductive argument: Amber has had one coffee today (P), Stu has had two (P),
and John has had three (P). John has had more coffee than Amber today (C).
o Inductive argument: Stanley has not done his homework all semester (P).
Therefore, Stanley will probably not do any homework the rest of the semester
(C).
