The essence of Kirkup's poem is that in attacking others deemed foreign, we end up attacking our own and deny the basic element that makes us human. The challenge here is that there might be some... ames Kirkup's poem "No Men are Foreign" underscores the importance of universal world peace. The moral of the poem is that human beings all over the world, no matter what their nationality, color, race or creed, are essentially the same: In every land is common lifeThat all can recognize and understand Hence, no one is a stranger or a foreigner. When we go to war with another country we are not fighting against foreigners but we are actually destroying ourselves: whenever we are told To hate our brothers, it is ourselves That we shall dispossess, betray, condemn. Similarly war, especially nuclear war destroys the earth which is the common property of all human kind: It is the human earth that we defile, Our hells of fire and dust outrage the innocence Of air that is everywhere our own.

REMEMBER NO MEN ARE STRANGE, NO COUNTRIES FOREIGN BENEATH ALL UNIFORMS, A SINGLE BODY BREATHES LIKE OURS; THE LAND OUR BROTHERS WALK UPON

IS EARTH LIKE THIS, IN WHICH WE ALL SHALL LIE. THEY, TOO, AWARE OF SUN AND WATER, ARE FED BY PEACEFUL HARVESTS BY WARS LONG WINTER STARVD.
Its true.If a good moment comes they get to celebrate together with whom they were once playing against. They hug each other after taking a wicket.Share techniques with one another.Support each other if they lose a match.take drinks together, have fun together in the change room.there cannot be more great platform for world brotherhood. n modern days international sports events like Asian Games, Commonwealth Games ,Olympic games are going a long way in promoting universal peace and brotherhood in the world. However ,of late, pristine purity of sports arena is being sullied by scandals of match fixing, allegation of doping, use of drugs etc. Healthy sportsmanship is on the wane. Respect for the rival is decreasing day by day. Spirit of Machiavalism is ruling the roost in the field of Sports. This is due the impact of modern materialistic world characterized by worship of the mammon. In spite of this, still sports and games are the only beacon of hope to promote universal brotherhood among nations riven by differences of region ,religion and ideology. Science can amuse and fascinate us all, but it is engineering that changes the world.

Science is nothing but developed perception, interpreted intent, common sense rounded out and minutely articulated.
