I undertook this internship project and completed the internship report under the
guidance of Yash Khandelwal and ABIS Export. I am grateful to the ABIS Export
staff for their patience and assistance during my training at their company. It was
a good learning experience for me to work with their GST division, as the project
involved many innovative GST practices.

 Information about the company

With a humble beginning in 1985 driven by ambition, IB Group has evolved into a
diversified industry giant with a presence in the Poultry, FMCG, Solvent, and
Livestock feed, Specialized Pet Food and Hospitality segments. Headquartered at
Rajnandgaon in the state of Chhattisgarh, the company has focused on research &
development, advanced technologies and built a competent workforce to impart
excellence in its business offerings. Undertaking a slew of socio-economic
initiatives, the group has improved the lives of rural poultry farmers and
underprivileged children, women and youth.

 Information about the internship position

I joined ABIS Export for an internship program in the capacity of a Tax assistant.
While the central focus was on conducting research, collating data, and
conceptualizing realities, I also handled various other tasks as they occurred.
  Description of the internship experience
Provide support to all the training projects and help in the executive projects. Also
provide support to the other sectors as well. In my 2 months of work experience I
go through different responsibilities, as an intern in the GST department of ABIS
Export, I got a list of tasks to complete every day
The tasks I undertook included:
Filling GST Return on GST Portal
Preparing & finalizing data for GST Return
Analyzing data using statistical software

 Limitation
Limited data got for research & already prefixed data received for research
Data processing can be done before at sale point in every month+
So data preparing for GST filling should be done before its due dates

 Conclusion
From my internship at ABIS Exports India Pvt. Ltd, I was able to get a better
understanding of how the GST works actually done and how impact of GST on
their products. I enjoyed working with the ABIS Exports India Pvt. Ltd Tax team to
devise and implement different techniques for filing various return on GST Portal.
But, I still have a long way to go in understanding the aspects of GST
Implementation, and I require to build up my public speaking skills as well.
Overall, I found the Finance internship experience to be positive, and I am sure I
would be able to use the skills I learned in my career later.
