PHILIPPINE POPULAR CULTURE

In our community it is a quiet and peaceful place to live and aside from people are kind, almost all
of us know each other because of the proximity of each other. One of the good customs we have here in
our community is that we are really proud of heroism. It is the collective cooperation of everyone who
needs help. This tradition is still alive and well in our community. Praying before eating is one of the
things we do every time we have a party, preparing different foods for every occasion has become our
custom and welcoming our visitors, whenever they’ll come to visit us when they go home we give them
vegetables or whatever product we have, for us this is the act of showing by being thankful to them,
also we do it with the desire to have a good relationship with others. In our community, planting rice
and vegetables is one of our common source of income. Here in the winding place of Addamay I will be
proud of our culture no matter who is immigrant or anywhere else in the world. Customs inherited by
our ancestors from the delicious foods they invented we must keep the culture conscious and proud
because it reflects our identity.
