    Amsterdam is the capital of Netherlands. It is known as Venice 
    of  the  North  because  of  its  lovely  canals  traversing  the  city, 
    impressive architecture, and more than 1,500 bridges.  

    The cultural  significance  of the  place  became a  UNESCO  World 


    Heritage Site in 2010.  

    There  are  over  fifty  museums  in  the  city  which  is  the  main 
    tourist  attraction.  Coffee  shops  in  Holland  are  allowed  to  sell 
    small amounts of cannabis which is duly regulated and taxed. Cannabis is a psychoactive drug similar to 
    a weed.
