ASSIGNMENT NO. 3 DEFINE THE FOLLOWING TERM ACCORDING TO YOUR

UNDERSTANDING
Law
As I comprehend it encompasses a framework of rules and regulations
established by a body and enforced accordingly.

Divine law
As per my understanding, refers to a set of moral and ethical principles that
are believed to originate from a higher power or deity.

Natural law
To my understanding pertains to a set of principles and moral guidelines that
are believed to be inherent in nature and universally applicable to all
individuals.

Moral law
As I perceive it consists of principles or rules that govern conduct based on
notions of right and wrong good and bad and ethical values.

Social law
Refers to a collection of rules, regulations and norms that govern interactions
and behavior within a society or community.

Statutes
Are written laws enacted by bodies such as parliaments, congresses or local
governments according to my understanding.

Ethics
Is a branch of philosophy concerned with principles and values. It aims at
determining what is right or wrong good or bad unjust in contexts.

Public law
Encompasses a range of matters dealing with the relationship between the
government and individuals or entities within a society, from what I
comprehend.
PRIVATE LAW
In my understanding private law is a branch of law that focuses on the
relationships and conflicts, between individuals or private entities.

LEGAL COMMENTARIES
Legal commentaries are written publications that offer an analytical
