The Witch Staff

Eve Mage was an average witch, she took her staff to school every day like other
kids. First, Eve woke up and then fell asleep again, she was not a morning person. Then,
she dressed with her last clean Wizard and Witch School uniform I will clean them
tomorrow she thought. Eve went downstairs to eat breakfast hastily and stopped at the
sight of her brother, Jack eating breakfast early with Mrs. Mage even though he had no
school today! Mr. Mage also didn’t have work today because he was sick.

At the sight of her, Jack stopped eating and stuck his tongue out to Eve with a look
that said I have no school but you do! hahaha he then actually said “hi, Eve your hair
looks like a porcupine, go brush it” then Mrs. Mage looked up to Jack and said “honey,
don’t be mean to your sister, apologize Jack” there was a pause but Jack said nothing
and Mrs. Mage said “Jack, please apologize” then Jack softly said “sorry for just giving
you advice” and they all started arguing about how to say sorry properly.

Eve was a nice girl. She was average smart and always carried happiness on her.
When her brother was mean she tried handling it by herself, but her mom or dad came to
save the day! In school days Eve wears her Wizard and Witch School uniform, but on the
weekends she always wears anything that is comfy. She also almost always wears shorts
every day except winter. Eve was half from England and half from Chile but she moved to
the United States. Mr. Mage was from England and Mrs. Mage was from Chile.

Eve had brown eyes and dark brown hair. She always had her hair on a ponytail
except at parties or at night. Her hair was super long! She had rosy cheeks and always
wore her hairband all the time except at night!

After some time they stopped arguing and Eve went outside to the bus stop to wait.
It was a sunny day, all the flowers bloomed. The sun was bright, the grass was green, and
the the trees were fascinating. It was one of those days when everything was perfect but
who knows what can happen, right?

When she got to school, She first put her staff on the Staff Holder marked with her
name because her first class was potions, then she put her homework in the homework
basket with her name tag on it. She spotted Lisa and Jenny, who were mean to Eve,
looking mischievously at her near Boris´ locker, she got nervous but whatever she
thought. Then the one person that made super comfortable, Laila came towards her and
said “hi, ok so I am totally going to fail potions because I forgot my homework” then Eve
noticed the bell was gonna ring at any time and said “ok, yeah don’t worry just hurry
cause the bell is going to ring”. They entered the class in a hurry and sat down. The class
was all about how to make a healing potion, Eve paid attention but when they made it she
forgot one ingredient! When she left class to get her staff, her staff wasn’t there!

Oh no! Someone stole Eve´s staff. But of course it didn’t affect her classes because
she could borrow a school staff. But still that was her lucky staff! She went to get Laila
and told her what happened “someone stole my staff!” ,Eve said, feeling scared. What if
they stole something else?! “you know, you don’t have proof that someone stole it, what if
you lost it?” Well, that could be it but Eve is sure that she put it in her Staff Holder. “ok,
but I know I didn’t lose it” said Eve. Then ding! Eve got a suspect “i already have a
suspect!” Said Eve, “what, you can’t possibly have a suspect, find clues like this” Laila
said, pointing to a bow “thats not yours, and if you look at what else is stolen you might
find a clue” said Laila. Laila was the best friend anyone could have. She was honest, nice,
and super wise. “alright” said Eve, and went to her homework basket, all her homework
was gone! Now she would really fail, what would be her excuse! “the person stole my
homework too!” Said Eve, Laila looked at her and pointed to the smartest kid, Boris´ hat
next to the basket even though his basket was far away! Eve didn’t notice that because
she was too concentrated on her stuff!

Eve went to Boris and told him the evidence, he then understood and said “i know
you might think it was me who stole your staff but it wasn’t” Eve didn’t believe him, she
said “ok if it wasn’t you then who was it?” Boris said “well I don’t know, but I can help you
if you give me all the clues and the story” Eve was considering this “ok so first I put my
staff in my staff holder and then I put my homework on my homework basket and then I
look over to Lisa and Jennie, who were near your locker looking at me mischievously and
I got nervous and then Laila came and told me she forgot her homework and then we
went to class” Eve noticed that the 10 minute break would end in any minute Boris said “i
have three suspects, which are Laila, Jennie, and Lisa” Eve could not believe it, it couldn’t
be her bestie. “there must be a mistake I understand why you think it was Jenny and Lisa
but not Laila” Eve said.

Eve then focused and said “ok so why was your hat there?” Then Ring! Went the
bell. Eve said see you in class to Boris and went to her class. Today she had a different
class from Laila, who had casting class. Eve had casting class later today, she wished she
could have every class with Laila! Her class was potions. Laila had potions later that day
too. When the teacher took the homework Eve said “ someone stole my homework” then
the teacher said “i am surprised, you always hand in your homework, and who would
need your homework, Eve darling?” Then suddenly Boris spoke up and said “it was Laila
who took Eve’s homework, we need to expel Laila like they expelled Rosa”. The class
gasped. Everybody from kindergarten missed Rosa. Rosa was friends with everyone,
everybody always visited Rosa. People also went to her birthday parties. Then Eve said “
Wow! Really wow! I can’t believe you! Laila didn’t steal anything!!! And how could you talk
about Rosa that way!? ” the teacher, Mrs. Lana Bravo was the mother of Rosa and got
super angry and gave Boris detention. She then got on with the class and Boris
apologized.

Eve talked to Boris after school and told him it was not Laila who took her staff or
homework, she also asked him again why his hat was there. He said “I would never! Why
would you think that!” He looked defeated and offended. Eve was angry, she just asked
nicely! Its not like she wanted to offend him. She stormed down the hallway to Laila. She
asked “Do you have any new clues?” Laila looked at her with a smile and nodded. “I have
a suspect on who took your homework! I overheard Dirk this morning complaining that he
didn’t do homework and then in class he had homework!” Eve thought hmmm, maybe he
stole my casting homework. But only my casting homework. Eve said “but only my
casting homework, right”.

She was super confused, but she was convinced! Eve rushed to Dirk’s locker and
homework basket, she was surprised at what she had seen! Half of all her homework was
in there! It had her name on it so she decided to steal it back. She took all her homework
and ran to her homework basket. When she arrived she saw Dirk look at her suspiciously
and shrug. He passed his homework basket and didn’t even notice it was empty! Whew,
she was safe!

Eve went to potions class to interrupt the 3d grade potions. She asked if she could
give something to Ms. Lana Bravo, the potions teacher. Eve gave Ms. Lana Bravo her
potions homework and retreated to her next class with her homework. To prevent anyone
else from stealing her homework, she put her homework in a bag with a lock and put the
bag on her homework basket.

She still wanted to know what happened to her other homework! On a 20 minute
break Eve and Laila went to try and find the other half of her homework. The hallways
were empty because on the break everyone went to the magic arena. The magic arena
was super big and its where everyone does magic and duels! She went outside. It was
still beautiful though the weather didn’t match her thoughts. She felt defeated. She heard
Laila scream! It wasn’t a oh no i’m in danger scream, it was more like a squeal. But Eve
still had to check it out! She ran to Laila and she was pointing on the floor! It was her
homework! At that moment she felt that Laila was the best living thing in the universe! Eve
thanked Laila a lot and said “Laila you are the best!!!!!!” After that Eve and Laila went to
the homework basket. Eve went to her basket and put the homework in her bag and
locked the bag.

At that same moment Lisa and Jenny came “We heard a commotion come from my
little sis, what happened?” Jenny asked. Laila hated when anyone mentioned that Jenny
was older than her.

Jenny and Laila Mearo were twins. They both had pale cheeks but Laila painted her
cheeks so her cheeks could look like Eves. They both had blue eyes. Their personalities
were super different. Laila was wise and girly, and Jenny was a popular goth girl. Laila
always loved the sun but Jenny hated it. They both had golden blond hair but Jenny dyed
her hair black. They also had bangs that were super pretty. Jenny was 10 more minutes
older than Laila. They were both from the United States and lived there for all of their
lives. Jenny and Laila always had their hair down, always

Laila responded “Eve found all her homework”. Jennie and Lisa huffed and then
realized that with that huff they kind of gave away their secret so they confessed that they
took the other half. They both sighed and rolled their eyes simultaneously. Eve sighed and
tried to forgive them. But they had done awful things before, she hated it! She knew that,
like always Laila was going to tell her mom and Jennie would get in trouble. But she
wanted Lisa to get in trouble too! But she knew she couldn’t do that, her father was the
mayor and he could get them in serious trouble. Once Rosa, her best friend from
kindergarten, snitched on Lisa. Lisa told her dad and her dad said “Rosa isn’t welcome to
the school anymore”. Everyone was devastated, but at least Rosa still lives here, but she
doesn’t know magic, she forgot! Thats when they realized that Lisa was dangerous.

After school Eve told her mom everything, Mrs. Mage said “Just ignore them, they
are super mean. At least you have Laila. Do you want to visit Rosa today”. She said yes,
she wanted to visit Rosa. On her visit, Eve did her homework and tried to teach some
magic to Rosa. She told Rosa everything about that day. Rosa said “How about we go
talk outside, bestie” she smirked. Rosa loved to remind Eve that they were best friends.
Laila knew Rosa and they were friends but they didn’t visit each other almost every day
like Eve and Rosa did.

 Rosa Bravo was also from Chile, they met there. They always go everywhere
together, they were family friends. Their parents were best friends since their childhood!
Rosa was super pretty, she had rosy cheeks and dark brown eyes and short dark dark,
super dark brown hair. She loved nail polish and pretty dresses. Rosa loved fashion,
normally she wore the most up-to-date clothing. Normally Rosa had her hair in braids or
just lose hair.

The next day, Laila rushed to Eve and said “i have a suspect on who took your staff!”
She said her suspect was Jonathan. Jonathan was super nice, he was her friend! Eve
wondered why he would ever do that even though she knew he would never. Eve asked
why “ because I saw him in the hallway with your staff!”, answered Laila. Oh no! thought
Eve why would he do that! Eve felt devastated and defeated. She couldn’t concentrate in
class because she was angry. Every time she saw him in the day, she looked at him with
disgust, but every time he saw her, he looked hopeful.

After school, Jonathan went up to her. Eve felt hopeful for some reason, she thought
for a moment why would I be hopeful, I hate him! She couldn’t sink in that she hated him
but she wanted to feel that way.

Jonathan came up and said “I am super sorry…”

she cut him up with “of course, you should be! You know how important that staff is to
me, WHY! Why would you steal it!”

He looked confused “wait a second, I didn’t steal it. I just came to give it to you, I found it
inside Boris’ locker. He wanted me to get his lunch for him and it was inside his locker so
I gave him his lunch and put your staff in my locker so I could give it to you later.”

Boris!? She told everything to Laila and Laila was super surprised! They decided to
have a sleepover that night so they could come up with crazy ideas on why Boris did that.
Eve saw Jack looking admirably at Laila. Jack liked Laila like he actually like liked Laila.
Jack liked Laila since she let him play with them when they were younger. Eve and Laila
played board games and did homework together.

The next day she confronted Boris. He confessed and eyed Jonathan, turns out
Boris liked Eve, he wanted to be friends with her. Boris was jealous that Jonathan was
friends with Eve. Boris was sad, he just wanted attention. Eve promised to be friends with
him if he never stole anything ever again. Boris promised. Eve was happy that all the
drama had gone! After school she told Rosa everything! At night she was super tired

Eve felt that all her problems had gone the next morning. Jack was nice to her and
Mr. Mage wasn’t sick today! The day at school was super normal! She talked to Boris and
there were no problems. She loved that day! Eves world was finally at peace!
