Title: “Hidden Superpowers”

Problem: Many people struggle with their body image. Many often fall victim to unhealthy standards
and expectations. Converse can help people achieve confidence by promoting inclusive clothing, shoes,
and self-empowering rhetoric. With just a little confidence, anyone can feel like a superhero.

SFX/MUSIC Contemporary upbeat pop music is

playing in the background. The sound of
rustling clothes, a zipper zipping and the
thud of a person jumping to put on their
favorite pants. Keys rattle from a
keychain and a phone notification beeps
to cut through the noise. A brief hmfph
comes from the FVO and all of the sound
cuts out. A finger snap breaks the
silence.

FVO: Tone is smooth, calm, yet with a hint of LOOKING GOOD. FEELING GOOD, I LOOK
anxiety, like a person on a first date. FVO GREAT! AGAIN, WHEN DO I NOT?
speaks with an emphasis on drawing out
“looking good”

SFX: keys begin to jingle again and listeners

can hear the sound of someone tying
their shoes in quick, hurried movements.
A door loudly opens and closes
MVO: The tone is frantic and panicked. MVO
is rushing through their sentences with great
urgency. MVO’s voice is oscillating between
quiet and loud.
SFX:
FVO: FVO voice is shocked and cracks as FVO
begins to speak. FVO quickly clears their
throat and assumes a stern serious tone. FVO
says “apparently” under their breath.
SFX:
ANNCR: Voice tone is calm and relaxed.
ANNCR speaks with a bright warm voice that
contradicts the frantic nature of the speakers
prior. ANNCR speaks very clearly articulating
each word with care and concern.
WONDER WOMAN! PLEASE YOU’VE GOT
TO HELP ME! THAT MAN STOLE MY
WALLET AND HE’S GETTING AWAY!
Listeners can hear the sound of running
shoes on the pavement. The music has
changed to a quick intense chase-like
tune.
I-I’M NOT - UHHHHH WAIT HERE SIR I’LL
HELP YOU BECAUSE I AM WONDER
WOMAN, APPARENTLY?
The background noise fades out and
transitions to a singular announcer. No
music will play during the final segment
to help the listener focus on the speaker
