Orphans Supervisor

Zad Indonesia is an Non-Government Organization as a humanitarian social institution that has

concern for the benefit and welfare of the community, especially in Indonesia. Established since
2017, Zad Indonesia is supported by donors who have concern for the benefit and welfare of the
community as partners to achieve sustainable life.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

• Reception of applicants for assistance and to ensure the necessary application and
documents required for the completion of the data, and analyzing the request.
• Field visits to supervise the old and new orphan, follow-up, and evaluation of their
situation.
• Diagnosis of each case and make appropriate recommendation of orphan before submitted
to the Office Coordinator.
• To provide the necessary data on the social and economic situation of the beneficiaries.
• Follow-up on the additional educational activities of orphans conducted by their teacher.
• Record all periodic reports via the information system of sponsorship, including new and
replacement and any other operations required.
• Provide the necessary information and requirement for the preparation of the annual report,
success stories and any other documentation that supports the work and development of
the program.
• Report any problems of work that is expected to affect the workflow.
• To participate in preparation of work plans and the preparation of project proposals to
support the beneficiaries of sponsorship.
• Carry out any other tasks assigned by the Program Coordinator.

Qualifications and experience

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Development studies, Social sciences, Socio-economic or

related discipline.
• Verbal and written skills in Arabic Language is a must.
• Having good English in spoken.
• Maximum 30 years old.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in social work.
• Ability to collect and analyze data.
• Writing and reporting ability.
• Communication and negotiating skills especially with children (Orphans).
• Willingness to travel to rural areas.
• Good interpersonal skills to ensure effective working relationships with colleagues and
external partners.
• Strong skills to use of essential computer software packages.
• Ability to work independently and problem solving oriented.
• The ability to meet deadlines, achieve results and work with minimal day to day
supervision.
