“A Solution to death”

Key text:

Intro:

I read some article written by Hanny Youdel, November 16, 2017 (https://forbes.co.il/e/what-would-a-
life-without-death-be-like/)

The title of the article is

What Would Life Without Death Be Like?

Science has managed to reduce mortality rates and has led to a sharp increase in average life expectancy.
But now it seems we are at the threshold of a new era in which life will be prolonged by decades. So how
would a life without an expiration date look like - and what is the price we would have to pay? ----Hanny
Youdel, November 16, 2017 (https://forbes.co.il/e/what-would-a-life-without-death-be-like/)

anthropological findings indicate that 150,000 years ago, life expectancy was less than 30 years old. This
average was maintained until about 6,000 years ago, and then gradually increased, until the end of the
19th century the average life expectancy was 46 years old. During this period, only one in 20 people
reached the age of 60, and one out of 50 reached the age of 65. However, it should be noted that the
low numbers were due mainly to the significant mortality rates of children and infants. Those who
survived were usually able to reach ages not very far from those we know today, but only a few reached
older ages.

The rapid technological development has brought us the possibility of mapping the human genome: for
$1,000 each, one can crack their genetic code

 According to the Israel Gerontology Association, the average life expectancy increases every
decade by two and a half years. According to figures recently published by the Central Bureau of
Statistics, there are currently 900,000 people age 65 and over in Israel, who constitute 10.8% of
the totally population. Half are over 75, and about 3,000 have celebrated 100 years of age or
more. In comparison, with the establishment of the state, the proportions of adults in the
population were 4%. By 2035, the adult population in Israel is expected to reach 14.6%, about
1.7 million people.
 Researchers have been able to extend the life of laboratory animals by more than ten times
strictly by changing the structure of their DNA. More than $1 trillion has been spent on
biomedical research in the past 20 years, with the science of aging research recently considered
one of the strongest shares in medicine.
 “optimism” fits in this discourse at all; to the longed-for goals of extending our lives as much as
possible can have far-reaching consequences for humanity. It is not at all certain that they are all
taken into account in research laboratories, which are constantly working on it. Does anyone ask
the basic question, “Is such a long life desirable?”

The problem:

 Population will increase

 The greater the number the greater the needs
 Water will lack, source of food, plants will be gone
 There will be a famine, and poverty will increase
 we will look back to wars of life, survival, and the potential for social explosion and civil war on a
scale we literally cannot even understand,”
 Depression will increase.

Conclusion:

death did not discriminate among human beings, and that the rich, too, were destined to grow old, to
fall ill and die.
BODY: The bible tells us that, death is already part of our life,

Men Are in the Hand of God

9 For I have taken all this to heart, exploring and examining it all, how the righteous (those in right
standing with God) and the wise and their deeds are in the hands of God. No man knows whether it will
be love or hatred; anything awaits him.

2 It is the same for all. There is one fate for the righteous and for the wicked; for the good, for the clean
and for the unclean; for the man who offers sacrifices and for the one who does not sacrifice. As the
good man is, so is the sinner; as he who swears an oath is, so is he who is afraid to swear an oath.

3 This evil is in all that is done under the sun, that one fate comes to all. Also, the hearts of the sons of
men are full of evil, and madness is in their hearts while they live, and afterwards they go to the dead.

4 [There is no exemption,] but whoever is joined with all the living, has hope; surely a live dog is better
than a dead lion.

5 For the living know that they will die; but the dead know nothing, and they no longer have a reward
[here], for the memory of them is forgotten. 6 Indeed their love, their hatred and their zeal have already
perished, and they will no longer have a share [in this age] in anything that is done under the sun.

SHIFTIG PARADIGM

1. Even you are good or bad, religious or not we have all same fate, all of us will die
2. when a person dies, their existence completely stops.
3. Their love, their thoughts everything will stops

Is there a really solutions to death?

there is no solution to death. life intends to kill us—“dorothy sayers

None, on this earth, we can’t find any solutions to death but through our loving God, through Jesus we
have.

 16 God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him won’t
perish but will have eternal life.
 23 The wages that sin pays are death, but God’s gift is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. John
3:16
 25
Jesus said to her, “ I am the Resurrection and the Life. Whoever believes in (adheres to, trusts
[a]

in, relies on) Me [as Savior] will live even if he dies; (john 11:25 AMP)

Conclusion:
Alam niyo po ba yung- “Anaphylactic shock” - Anaphylaxis is when you have a severe allergic reaction
to an allergen, such as a certain food or insect bite.
A vacationing family drives along in their car, windows rolled down, enjoying the warm breeze of the
sunny day. All of a sudden, a big black bee darts in the window and starts buzzing around inside the car. A
little girl, highly allergic to bee stings, cringes in the backseat. If she is stung, she could die within an
hour.

“Oh, Daddy,” she squeals in terror. “It’s a bee! It’s going to sting me!” The father pulls the car over to a
stop, and reaches back to try to catch the bee. Buzzing around toward him, the bee bumps against the
front windshield where the father traps it in his fist.
Holding it in his closed hand, the father waits for the inevitable sting. The bee stings the father’s hand and
in pain, the father lets go of the bee. The bee is loose in the car again. The little girl again panics, “Daddy,
it’s going to sting me!” The father gently says, “No honey, he’s not going to sting you now. Look at my
hand.”

The bee’s stinger is there in his hand.

Where to Take It from Here…

Paul exulted in 1 Corinthians 15:55, “Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?”
Jesus says to us, “Look at my hands.” He has Satan’s sting, the sting of death, the sting of sin, the sting of
deceit, the sting of feeling worthless. Jesus has all of those stingers in his hands. When you see that nail-
scarred hand, realize that, on your behalf, Jesus took all the pain that Satan could throw at Him. He
reduced Satan to a big black bee that’s lost its stinger—all Satan can do is buzz. That’s the victory that
Jesus won for you.
