In the beginning, a prince is his mother speak. The prince said to his mother: " I shall
never find a true princess ", and she tells him he deserves a true princess. After, a
princess knocks on the door and the prince sees her as the soggiest, muddiest, least
princessiest – looking woman. he closes the door and she knocked even louder. She
asks for a shelter for the night. She is welcomed by the mother who feeds her and
makes her sleep on twenty mattresses. Under the mattresses there is a tiny green pea.
In the morning, the princess is drenched, filthy and exhausted, she says she slept
badly and the prince says: you passed the test. So the mother says : you two can get
married. The princess leaves the house and the prince tells her who is the only true
princess in the land, but she leaves anyway and marries a prince who did not make
her pass stupid silly test and they lived happy ever after.
