What will be the implication of technological globalization on people in developing countries?

Technology has become a big part in our lives, as it is one of the resources that manipulate or
disseminate information. In fact, technologies around the world really help our lives especially to our
workers that uses technology in their daily lives as their work or resources. Technologies are also the
goods that are bought and sold in the market, especially in developing countries.

In developing countries, technologies will be a very big help to their economy and it can also make
their work easier as well. However, I think there’s a good and bad sides of technologies in developing
countries because it needed a lot of budgets. For example, a mobile phone, people in developing
countries have accessed to long distance communications without the need for costly investments in
landlines and other infrastructure. Another example is the mobile banking, nowadays mobile banking
provided through cell phones, has enabled access to financial services in remote areas without bank
branches. With those examples, it is seemed to be a very helpful through the use of technology in
developing countries however, it might need a strong privacy to avoid getting scam and being spam with
unknown messages. Technology is important in developing countries as it has profound effects on their
economies, such as reducing the national costs of production, establishing standards for quality, and
allowing individuals to communication from a distance. Especially now that it’s still pandemic, I can say
that technology is really a big help to us and since Philippines is still a developing country, if we use
technology a lot and is also studied by the experts, the technology here will rise same with the economy
here in the Philippines. However, it must upgrade with educational systems and technical training to
improve especially in business environment, and enhance the logistics and transport networks in order to
make fuller use of new technologies. The rapid spread of technology fueled by the Internet has led to
positive cultural changes in developing countries. Easier, faster communication has contributed to the
rise of democracy, as well as the alleviation of poverty. Globalization can also increase cultural
awareness and promote diversity.

Technology in developing countries will be a big help but it is needed to be studied by the experts
and it must also upgrade the educational system so that the citizens will have more knowledge. Though
there is a still bad sides with the use of technology, we can still say that technologies in developing
countries will be a huge step for their economy to grow and to make their work easier especially to the
people that works on the factories and other people that uses technologies in their daily lives.
