1. General

Thank you for purchasing our DeMattia Flex Cracking Tester. This operation

manual is for the parameter setting and operation instructions of the machine.

I. purpose:

It is suitable for testing the folding resistance of rubber, leather, synthetic

leather, sole, film, rubber coated fabric and other materials at room

temperature.

A. Test piece: 154 × 25±1 × 6.3±0.15mm

B. Maximum spacing between clips: 75 + 1 mm

C. Reciprocating stroke: 57 + 0.5 mm

D. Test speed: 300 ± 10 times / min

E. Counter: LCD display 0 ~ 999999

F: Number of jobs: 12 groups


2. Precautions

Power: power key to turn on and off the power of the instrument

Run: start key


Stop: stop key

CLR: reset key to reset the value

Set: set key, Modify settings, modify test times, and finally confirm and return

to the main menu.

SP: test speed

Tm: set number of tests

Add times: actual test times

Turn on the power and press the set key. The displayed window is shown in

the figure below

Modify the counting method. O is positive counting and 1 is countdown

Once you've configured the necessary test durations, use the "Set" key to

exit the modification mode. After configuring the settings, press the "Run"

key to initiate the test, and the instrument will automatically cease operation

after completing the predefined number of cycles.


If you require an interruption during the test, simply press the "Stop" key. To

resume the test, press the "Run" key once more. Should you wish to erase

the test record in preparation for the next test, use the "CLR" key.

4. Operating Instructions
1. Power supply conditions: Please configure the correct power supply

according to the serial tag displayed on the machine.

Additionally, it is essential to ensure the machine is adequately grounded to avert

potential damage stemming from electrical leakage.

2. Operating environment requirements: temperature 23 ℃ humidity 60%

3. The instrument shall be placed on a horizontal surface

I. preparation of the test piece:

1. Preparation of the test piece: take the specified test piece according to the

provisions of the standard, and fix the test piece in the fixture;

2. Turn on the power, press the "run" key to start the machine, turn the "speed

regulation knob" to adjust to the required test speed, and then press the

"stop" key,;
3. Set the counter times according to the experimental needs;

4. Press the "run" key to test; Press the "stop" key to end the test;

5. Press the "power" key to turn off the machine and remove the test pieces;

6.Repeat the above operation to enter the next round of testing.

5. Maintenance procedure
1.The instrument must be placed on a stable table before use,

2. Do not move the machine while it is testing

3. Select the corresponding power supply voltage

4. If any physical damage is noticed by the operator, stop the testing and

contact NextGen

5. There must be a good ventilation when the machine is testing.

6. It is recommended to add lubricating oil to all moveable components every

3-6 months depending on its frequency of use

7. After each test, clean and maintain the machine

8. The control box must be wiped with a dry cloth only
