At power up the display shows the data which may be normally useful during the prodution phase, that is:

actual capacity (rotation speed) expressed in bags/hour (b/h)

weight of the last memorised bag expressed in tenths of grams (for ex. 50.5 kg M_> 5050)

number of the mouth (mouth) associated to the last memorised bag

number of the active receipt (rec.n.)

The lower display shows the various signals and error messages coming from the following components:
bagging machine electronic devices: Magic-Box node, communication network nodes,
,.,.. Pic or Pic node.

Every time the production is to be modified due to material quality or to bag type, it is necessary to change the
receipt number.
The operator has the possibiilty to select one of the 24 available receipts, and to send it to the Ventodigit
electronic balances. If, for example, you wish to activate a receipt whose weight selection is different from the
presently operating one (from receipt 1 at 50 kg to receipt 2 at 25 kg, for example), it is necessary to operate as
follows:

stop the bag inserting unit and then stop the rotation of the bagging machine

The function evacuation delay allows to eject the bags in the centre of the evacuation belt for whatever
capacity. For every capacity set a corresponding value of evacuation delay has been set too, which
automatically varies according to the modification of the rotation speed. Starting from the evacuation point
(encoder position 5: evac.), a bag ejection delay is loaded, which will be maximum at minimum speed (2000
b/h), and minimum at maximum speed (4150 b/h); such delay also depends on the bag size (25 or 50 kg), since
ac_c_ording to itJ~~~g behaviour while turning over may change.

bags (by setting 0 as mouth number).

Following such command, the filling cycle of the bag stops and the mouth waits for the ejection signal,in order to
carry out the normal evacuation operation. Such command is very useful to free the weighing electronic devices
from any faulty bags, for example, or to end a production session, by sending the command to all the weighing
electronic devices, after having first disabled the bag inserting unit.
In the event the relevant electronic device shows an alarm status, such command causes the reset of its
software, after the bag has been evacuated.

The aim of this operation is to try to remove any obstruction left in the nozzle or in the turbine body, which may
prevent the bag from being correctly filled. Such 0 eration should be carried out every time amouth shows at
frequent intervals the message."failure to fill at second attempt':'-the display of the relevant Ventodigit will show
Err. bl), or the message "max. filling time exceeded" (the display of the relevant Ventodigit will blink), with the
turbine being anyway correctly started.
Various tests have shown that it is necessary to carry out the unlocking operation more than once in order to
completely remove the obstructions.

During the fast discharge cycle the guillotines placed behind each turbine body open, and the turbines of each
mouth start in sequence for a time interval that may be programmed on the pushbutton panel; this allows to
discharge all the residual material left inside the bagging machine or ins ide the hoppers placed above.
In order to exploit the SCR function at best, before its activation strictly follow the instructions mentioned
hereunder; : ,.

stop inserting the bags (turn off the bag inserting unit, if available)
evacuate all the bags left on the bagging machine
if you wish to discharge the bagging machine only, disable the product feeder, by pressing the relevant key;
on the contrary, if you wish to discharge both the bagging machine and the hopper placed above, keep the
machine rotating and start the product feeder.

(before enabling the fast discharge function, be ensured that the mouth discharge time is correcty set, i.e. the
time during which the turbine of each mouth is actuated; such value may vary from 1 up to 99 seconds).

We suggest you to make two si~s on the bagging machine (one on the rotating part and one on the fixe';.d ,gart),

This phase is crucial in order to adapt the encoder management system to the actual situation, by entering the
values of the various positions relating to mouth 1 (which were noted during the previous phase). The software
will automatically calculate the position values of the remaining mouths, so that when reading the relative value
of the encoder during rotation, the software will be able to determine if a mouth is passing through one of the
memorised positions, and in this event it will send to the mouth the corresponding command (for example, if
mouth 2 is passing through the evacuation position, the software will send to it the evacuation command).

These parameters are logically divided in two groups, which are sent to the bagging machine in two separate
moments.
The first group comprises those values relating to the various phases of the filling cycle.
It is possible to create up to 24 different receipts ·of the first group, associating one number to each of them; by
selecting the desired number the corresponding receipt will be sent to the weighing electronic devices.
The second set of parameters comprises all the waiting and control time values within the weighing cycle, the
enabling or disabling of the weighing devices alarms and the discharge time per mouth (when the fast discharge
function is foreseen).

Like the bagging machine parameters, also the parameters relating to the belt balance are divided in two groups.
The first group comprises two sets of parameters, each one linked to a weight selection, so that by activating a
certain weight selection, the Ventocheck will consider the parameters relating to that weight selection. The
second group of parameters comprises those values which allow to fully define the belt balance operation during
the production phase, its behaviour when an alarm or a malfunction occur, together with the times and ways to
remove the bags having a wrong weight.

The following operations shall be carried out every time you wish to read. enter or modify one
of the parameters relating to the Ventocheck.
