At this point I am going to give you a blue and


red flags. I will read sentences/statements.
You will identify if the sentence are correctly
constructed or not. If the sentence is correct
you will raise your blue flags, and If the
sentence is erroneous, you will raise your red
flag and I will call a student to correct the
sentence. Is it clear?
Okay let us start!

not FINDS, ma'am.

Today, we are going to identify the rules on

Our topic for today is all about the Rules of
Subject-Verb Agreement. The first rule that we
have for subject -Verb Agreement is:

verb; two nouns acting a compound subject
take a plural verb.

subject is considered as one unit or is modified
by each or ever singular verb is used.
