a) Beam thickeners: Beams are made of concrete and VISCO TOP is a

concrete thickener which comprised primarily of a surfactant and also

imparts variety of physical properties to concrete which includes
thickening and prevention of segregation of materials.
b) Channels: Made of concrete, a channel system is used to allow the flow of
water from one location to another. This is used in a range of
infrastructure and several industries. Concrete lined channel is usually
rectangular, trapezoidal in shape.
c) Concrete aprons: It is also known as “an approach”. It is a section of
concrete which is inserted in one of the three places; in front of garage,
entrance to a parking lot or driveway and around the perimeter of
building.
d) Post holes: Post hole is defined as a dug into ground to hold a surface
timber or stone. It is used for setting fence posts, mailboxes and decks
etc.
e) Pathways: Pathways as the form of concrete are the large sized stones
with the concrete used as a cementing material to give those stones a
simple look and use as a pathway. It is the mostly used construction
product for the residential pathways and the patios.
f) Garden edges: Garden edges are the clean and crisp lines of concrete
between the flower beds and the remaining area of the garden. These are
used to separate the flowers beds from the grassy area of the garden.

1) Concrete should be vibrated for proper mixing of the it. As the concrete is
poured, the air bubbles can be trapped within mixture which creates the
cavities of the honeycomb-like spaces. It can compromise the strength of the
concrete. The concrete is vibrated because the vibrators force the trapped air
out of mixture and cause the final product a more compact and levelled.
If the concrete is over vibrated, a thick film of water will be on concrete layer and the
cement would tend to sink. This will result in the lower strength at
