    fm ≈ 39.35 N/mm2

    Std Dev = √ (256.78/39) √ (∑((ẋ-x)²)/n-1)


    ≈ 2.57 N/mm2

    Current = 1.64 x 2.57


    Margin ≈ 4.21 N/mm2

    However, CL 3.2.1 (b) requires current margin not less than 7.5N/mm2 and concrete were produced from 4.1.2020 to 28.1.2020 (23
    days) which exceeded the required minimum production period of 5 days

    Hence, the grade of concrete for the first 40 batch of concrete:

    fc = 39.35 - 7.5
    = 31.85 N/m > 30 N/mm2

    Comment:

    1. One month concreting results are analysed from these samples. For designed mix three conditions must be complied:

    a. Individual result
    - All results are in compliance

    b. Group result
    - The first 4 consecutive days results are in compliance. Other are also in compliance

    c. Characteristic cube strength (grade of concrete) for the particular batch of test result
    - The first 40 batches and a subsequent 100 batches of valid result were analysed.

    fc = 31.85N/mm2 for the first 40 batches exceeding the required 30N/mm2. Hence, the
    quality of the concrete for the entire batch of results is IN COMPLIANCE AND
    ACCEPTABLE
