‘As requested, | am writing on behalf of the Presidential Communications Office (PCO)
to formally submit the Satelite Tower Specification and Load Details for the VM,
Uihich includes ‘he satelite tower and foundation, design loads, wind lozd, seismic
load, antenna load, and satelite tower design and specifications, attached as Annex
"A" hereof, for your review and consideration.
‘May we note that our personnel previously sent the same attachment to Engineer
ame Roxette G. Carpio on 02 June 2023 and to you personally on 27 July 2023 when
they went to Cebu to monitor and conduct an actual site inspection on the VIAH project.
In view of the foregoing, we look forward to your consideration and appropriate action,
in accordance with existing guidelines and applicable laws, rules, and reguations and
without entaling additional cost to the PCO.

3.4. TOWER AND FOUNDATION
‘The design criterion shall be applied to the structural analysis of proposed Tower and
‘supporting foundation including its sub-structures.
30 feet Self Supportirg Tower & Foundation with provisions for Microwave link STL and
ICT communications.
‘The DesignerBullder shall design the tower with rest platforms and one (1) working
platforms and vertical man-ladder in the given material specifications:
1. Landings- Heavy Duty Expanded metal
2. Vertical Man-tedder- round steel guard
3. Tower: Structural Steel (Tubular Pipe) in accordance to ASTM 36 or approved
equivalent ho!-dipped galvanized)
4, Tower Painting: High Buld Self Priming Epoxy, Polyurethane Top-coat
Design Loads
“The minimum design loads forthe structure and supporting foundation shall be the weight
of the structure incliding all appurtenances and attachment, lateral forces effects,
differential movements, and restrained dimensional changes. Design loads and forces:
are those resulting from dead loads, lve loads and lateral loads acting in the most cxitcal
‘combinations, using the appropriate load.
3.1.2. Wind Load
‘The structure and every portion thereof shall be designed and constructed to resist the
wind effecis determined in accordance to the requirements NSCP 7th Edition, 2016,
