Good afternoon, allow me to introduce myself first, I am Mohammad Hussien D.

Mangondaya, and
today I’ll be discussing some part of 4 participants in Support Subsystem.

First and foremost, what is Support Subsystem. It is the viability of the agribusiness system rests on
the coordinative and integrative functions of the service providers. This means that it is the ability to
work successfully the Agribusiness using the coordination of the service providers which is the 4
participants of Support Subsystem. They are the Government Institutions, Private Institutions,
Financial Institutions, and Educational and Research Institutions.

The Government Institutions is being discussed by my groupmate and let’s proceed to the SECOND
the Private Institutions/Industry Associations. READ

The NGO is an independent organization that focuses on assisting the marginal sectors of society
which means that they are Assisting the Needs of the Society or community. Like for example, the
Marawi siege. There are different organizations or NGOs that supported and assisted the needs of
that certain calamity. Even during and after the siege because NGOs ensures the Pagbangon of that
particular place that is being affected by certain disaster or tragedy.

Additionally, we have 3 Kinds of NGOs. International, National, and Local NGOs.

So, let’s start with the first which is the International NGOs. It is an organization that is independent
of government involvement and extends the concept of a non-governmental organization to an
International Scope. Same the second is the National NGOs, which are independent of a National
Scope. And also, the Local NGOs to a Local scope.

But usually, they join together. For instance, International NGOs have new projects or programs that
they wanted to help and support the Farmers in the Philippines. But the question is, how they are
going to achieve this project or goals? First, they need to find a partner or in other words
partnerships. They need to make a partnership with the National level of NGOs. So, dito papasuk
naman yung National NGO. But ang tanong paano rin nila ma-achieve ung vision in International
NGO na supportahan ung farmers dito sa Philippines? Eh anlaki ng pinas, right? So, dito naman
papasok si Local NGO. They are going to Facilitate and makipag-coordianate sa mga municipyo and
barangay community. Either they are going to lobby or assist those farmers in that particular place in
accordance with the project or programs.

To be clear, andaming Local NGO in every province or region. So, this time the vision of international
level by the help of National that are implemented by the Local NGO are being successfully achieved.
Kayanga pag may project ung NGO may makikita tayung different Logos dun sa Papers or tarpaulins
nila. And another example is my Cooperative which is Supported by these 3 different types of NGOs.
The United States of America for International Development (USAID), and international level; the
Plan International Philippines, a national level; and the ECOWEB, a local NGO.

So, let’s here Ms. _____________________ for continuing this report.

And for the third part of the Participants in the Support Subsystem is the Financing Institutions.
READ

 Credit Allocation is the increase in the rates of the capital in the agribusiness.
 Savings Mobilization is it attracts savers and channels to produce use.
 Financial education is your budget preparation, your cash flow management, and other
financial skills.

Examples of Financial Institutions are Rural Banks like the Land Bank or any na may Bank. Ang
agricultural Bank na okay sa Agriculture ay ang Land Bank because ang Land Bank ang pinaka main
support sa Agriculture.

The fourth one is the Educational and Research Institutions. READ

For example, our university, MSU. We have the College of Agriculture that provides education and
training about business management skills, human resources, and a primary developer of
technologies, and provide relevant business information, and conducts market service, feasibility
studies.

So, let’s wrap up. To the 4 Participant Support Subsystem. We have Government Agencies like the
Department of Agriculture in the Philippines. We have Private Institutions for private sectors like
NGOs and Associations. We have Financing Institutions, the Agricultural Banks like the Land Bank.
And, we have also Educational and Research Institutions like universities, colleges, and training firms.

These 4 participants will help us to work successfully in our agribusiness functions.
