Group 1 - How can prediction help humanity for nows

Introduction
What would it feel like when you know your future? It feel a lot
more comfortable for you to know what you future is if you want to
keep on working to achieve it sooner or change it like the way you
want. Although it is hard, it helps you a lot. It not only helps you, but
it can also save some people too, by changing their lifestyle and
make them work to change their bad futures. So people learnt how
to predict to see their futures and know what will happen in their
future.
Cause and consequences
Cause
A long time ago, humanity lived without knowing what will their
life be like in the future, they didn’t know what will happen if they do
this or that and they worried about the things that will happen to
them so they thought of ways that will help them to see their future
and then, prediction appeared, fortune tellers appeared and by that
way, they knew what was their future like (can happen or cannot).
Consequence
For creating predictions, fortune telling becomes a job and the
fortune tellers will exchange a person’s future for payment.
Humanity’s brain became more creative and then they came up
with brilliant and innovative ideas, they predicted things and in the
future those things become true. On the other hand, predicting the
future can also cause negative consequences. For example, fortune
tellers can scam people that believe in predicting by making fake
predictions to get money from them and it can result in making the
people that want to predict poorer, so we need to be careful as well.
Global perspective
The world wanted to predict because it has a lot of
advantages about the economy or wars, to predict the danger which
is coming to us, so that we can dodge the danger and save our life.
It brings everyone courage to work to make their future better. The
prediction of the future brings us courageous, make us a good
person. On the other hand, predicting the future might be helpful for
doing illegal actions or making a person’s mind become worse
when they think of the bad things that will happen to them in their
futures.
National perspective
Vietnamese think that predictions will help them in the
economy, development news, research, and data. For example, we
have a famous person that has ten predictions of what happened
during the Vietnam War. The famous person that predicted these
10 predictions was Ho Chi Minh, later on, the predictions of Ho Chi
Minh happened. These predictions happened because of the
courage of the soldiers in the Vietnam War, so Vietnam has a myth:
Prediction cannot happen if you haven’t tried to do it.
Comparison of two perspectives
Both global and national believe that prediction can bring them
courageous, energy in all kinds of situations and in all kinds of
things, and both global and Vietnamese use predictions all the time
in everything in their daily life. However, the two perspectives
predict specific things, global, they predict their country or economy,
while Vietnamese usually predict their faith, their life and their
future. Both of them use prediction a lot in their life but they still
have differences, but, they all predict as if it was one of the things
they need to do to survive.

This source helps us to find information about the problem and
plan.
Action Plan/Problem-solving
Predicting the future contains a lot of advantages. But on the other
hand, the disadvantages filled it up too. The advantages and
disadvantages of predictions are a lot but some predictions cannot
happen because no one does them. So will predictions happen? It
depends on us. Firstly we have to make predictions, you must
complete a dream of humanity. Secondly, we have to do it. If we
don’t do it, we’ve just made a dream that you cannot make any
material without doing it. Another main problem we can see is that
some predictions are way too inefficient, they cannot happen
because of their price, and they cannot help humanity because of
their price and their usage so if you want to help humanity through
predictions you must make them efficient and helpful. My group had
planned that we would make some predictions that would help
humanity. For example, I had predicted trash would be gone in my
home in the next two weeks. I am cleaning my house right now for it
to happen.
Conclusion
In conclusion, efficient predictions will happen if someone wants to
do it and has a dream of doing it. Predictions contain positive and
negative, on the positive side, it affects humanity and changes their
life because a human can’t live without prediction, but on the bad
side sometimes they can be wrong and can be used for bad things.
From our group perspective, predicting the future can bring us
advantages and disadvantages in our life. But we shouldn’t believe
it too much because miracles only happen when we change
ourselves.
