Int. Hi, Sally. It’s eleven a.m. You’re not in class
right now. What are you doing?
Sally I’m having a break at the moment. We always
have one at eleven. Lessons start again in
fifteen minutes.
Int. What are you studying today?
Sally This morning we’re studying Spanish.
Int. Do you like Spanish?
Sally Yes, I really enjoy it. It’s one of my favourite
subjects.
Int. Are you good at it?
Sally I can speak it well, and I can understand my
teacher when he speaks Spanish. I sometimes
read Spanish magazines, but I can’t write it
very well. I think the spelling is difficult, so I
often make mistakes.
Int. When’s your next Spanish exam?
Sally Next week. I’m revising a lot. I really want to
improve my spelling before the exam.
Int. How can you do that?
Sally I’ve got a vocabulary notebook. Look! I write
all the difficult words in here.
Int. Wow! You’ve written hundreds of words!
Sally I know. I want to remember all of them!
