This social experiment was extremely fun and exciting to do, it was a great way to find out if there

are
nice people around you. Despite the difficulties in our era today, there are still people who really show
good intentions and good hearts.

Each and every person in our group played an important role in making sure that our social experiment
went smoothly. I and Azuelo was the videographer of our social experiment, and I also edit our video.
And honestly it is not easy to set up a camera which they cannot see or noticed. When there was more
than one idea the group voted on what we were going to do, to make sure that everyone had a fair
share in what was going on in the experiments. In order to decide on who did what in the group we
simply volunteered to do things in order to make the process as smooth and easygoing as possible. The
only problem that came up was when we first started this experiment, we asked a simple question to
strangers. We realized it was too simple and didn’t make enough and the experiment wasn’t working
because people would just walk right by and and we don’t see their reactions, so we need to change our
script. And luckily in our second day there are people who showed their kindness, and respect. Chrislyn
who did the first scene, she’s asking for direction to strangers. Sol who did the second scene, she was
asking for help. And for the last scene is Charlotte, she asked the stranger in the mall which will fit to
her.

I was interested to see how people would react to a stranger’s random kindness and friendliness. Would
strangers entertain them? Or, on the other hand, would my participants be appearing visibly uneasy and
nervous? My hypothesis was that people, regardless of their gender, would be mildly surprised at the
behavior, maybe occasionally responding with confused looks and gestures.

Our social experiment was conducted outside in our campus. In front of Zoey Café, in Dunkin Doughnut,
and in area of the third floor of Unitop. Most would consider this area that many people passing by or
wandering around, so this location was effective, and it really suit in our social experiment. The reason
our group chose the type of experiment we did is to see and experience good hearted people. We
decided on this experiment because we thought it would be interesting to see people's different morals.
However in conducting this social experiment, there are still people who kept avoiding us. But we didn't
stop, because we do believe that there are still people who are kind and good hearts. Even I’m only
doing a video, I felt awkwardness and nervous, in fact seeing my members approaching and talking with
the strangers was substantially easier and more enjoyable that I originally expected. Typically, our video
seem to exhibit genuine people. The social experiments motivates people to be more kind since it
inspires people and and spreads positivity. These situations show how loving people can truly be and
their capacity for giving a love.

The results of this experiment were very valuable. It was interesting to see different people's morals and
how they reacted when they were asked. If we had more time, it would have been interesting to test on
different age groups and to see if that really did have an effect on the way people react to something
like this. Also, I would have liked to have tested on more individuals to see if our data showing that they
are less likely to act, really was true.

We didn't have much conflict, but when we did have differing ideas, we would compromise and figure
out as a group, which idea would work best. We did not have any issues with one person doing more
work than the others. We all had a role and completed them. All of us have pretty relaxed personalities
so we all went with the flow, but we still got our work done. This unit went well, and overall our group
worked very well together.
