का.आ. 763(अ).—के न्द्रीय सरकार, भारतीय राष्‍टरीय रािमागग प्राजधकरण अजधजनयम, 1988 (1988 का 68)
की धारा 11 द्वारा प्रित्त िज‍तयों का प्रयोग करते हुए, एति द्वारा नीचे िी गई सारणी के कॉलम (1) में तिनुरूपी प्रजवजष्‍टि
में यथा-जवजनर्िगष्‍टि राष्ट्रीय रािमागग के कॉलम (2) में यथा-जवजनर्िगष्‍टि खंड के अनुसार जनम्नजलजखत सारणी के कॉलम (3) में

S.O. 763(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 11 of the National Highways Authority of
India Act, 1988 (68 of 1988), the Central Government hereby entrusts the stretch of national Highways, as specified in
column (3) of the Table below, of the section as specified in column (2) of the National Highways as specified in the
corresponding entry in column (1) of the said Table, to the National Highways Authority of India, namely:-

the Central Government hereby directs that the Border Roads Organization under Border Road Development Board
shall exercise the function relating to the development and maintenance of the stretch as specified in column (3) of the
Table below, of the corresponding section as specified in the corresponding entry in column (2), of the National
Highways as specified in the corresponding entry in column (1) of the said Table.

का.आ. 765(अ).—के न्द्रीय सरकार, राष्‍टरीय रािमागग अजधजनयम, 1956 (1956 का 48) की धारा 5 द्वारा
प्रित्त िजियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, एति द्वारा जनिेि िेती है दक इसके साथ संलग्न ताजलका के कॉलम (2) में वर्णगत प्रत्येक
राष्‍टरीय रािमागग से संबंजधत कायों का जनष्‍टपािन करने के संबंध में प्रत्येक राष्‍टरीय रािमागग के सामने ताजलका के कॉलम (3)
में जवजनधागररत कायग इस ितग के अध्यधीन राज्य सरकारों द्वारा पूरे दकए िाएंगे दक संबंजधत राज्य सरकार उ‍त अजधजनयम
के अधीन वतगमान में लागू जनयमों का अनुपालन करने के जलए ऐसे कायों को करने के जलए बाध्य होंगी और उस प्रयोिनाथग
तत्कालीन पोत पररवहन, सड़क पररवहन और रािमागग मंत्रालय (सड़क पररवहन और रािमागग जवभाग) की अजधसूचना सं.
का. आ. 1096 (अ), दिनांक 4 अगस्ट्त, 2005 में एतिद्वारा जनम्नजलजखत और संिोधन करती है, अथागत्:-
उ‍त अजधसूचना की अनुसूची में, क्रम सं. 31 के जलए तथा उससे संबंजधत प्रजवजष्‍टियों के जलए पर जनम्नजलजखत को
प्रजतस्ट्थाजपत दकया िाएगा, अथागत्:-

बार का.आ. 203(अ), तारीख 12 िनवरी, 2023 द्वारा संिोजधत दकया गया था।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 17th February, 2023
S.O. 765(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of
1956), the Central Government hereby directs that the functions in relation to the execution of works pertaining to
each of the National Highways described in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed shall be exercisable by the State
Government specified in column (3) of the Table against each highway subject to the condition that the State
Government concerned shall in the exercise of such functions be bound to comply with the rules for the time being in
force under the said Act and for that purpose makes the following further amendments in the notification of the
Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways (Department of Road
Transport and Highways) number S.O. 1096(E), dated the 4th August, 2005, namely:-

In the said notification, in the Schedule, for serial number 31 and the entries relating thereto, the following
shall be substituted, namely: -

“31 So much of new National Highway No. 1A (excluding from km. 0.00 to km. 286.000 and from km. Government
303.800 to km. 534.250), No. 1C, new NH No. 144, new NH No. 444 [(excluding Quazigund- of UT of
Jawahar Tunnel- Banihal section (35.00 km)] and new NH No. 501 as is situated within the UT Jammu and
of Jammu and Kashmir. Kashmir”
