KOLO 8 News Now is an ABC affiliate that began broadcasting on September 27, 1953, the first
TV station in Reno. KOLO 8 has one of the largest coverage areas in the country including
portions of Northern Nevada and Northern California.

KOLOCares represents our commitment to our community. Through the KOLOCares Community
Calendar, Spotlight and our “Did You Know?” PSA campaigns we help provide a voice for the
non-profits in our area.
