A computer can help you write words and
numbers. It can also store letters, numbers, codes,
symbols, or words, and even pictures or drawings.
A computer helps you do tasks repeatedly. You
can use it to add numbers as many times as
possible. You can draw or paint pictures for as
long as you want.

Using a computer, you can play games, listen to

music, and watch movies.

A computer helps you learn about many things.

You can read about the sun, plants, and animals,
soldiers, great men and women, the weather,
and holidays.
A computer helps you talk to people or write
messages for others.

make sure that your eyes are not too close to the

What a computer cannot do

There are things that a computer cannot do by
itself.
1. A computer cannot repair itself when it
breaks down. It needs a person to fix it.
2. A computer cannot think and act on its own.
It needs instructions from people.

3. A computer needs data to work on. Data is

a collection of information. A person is
needed to provided data to the computer.

4. A computer cannot work without electricity.
