Department of Mechatronics Engineering organized a seminar on REFRESHER COURSE ON MACHINE

DRAWING on 27.09.2017 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. The seminar was attended by 57 students.

The resource person Mr.Alaguraj Vellaiappan started the session with the introduction about
REFRESHER COURSE ON MACHINE DRAWING .The session continued with the following topics Engineering
Design Basics Purpose of ED ,Types of Drawings, Items required for Drawing, Drawing Standards, Design
Standards, Specifics of Red-pencil Drawing, Basic Lines, Line Types, Lettering, Dimensioning, General Rules for
Dimensioning, Types of Projections, View on the Sheet of Paper, Drawing Symbols.
