Choosing a topic
It is essential that students choose a topic that can offer a
productive route of inquiry, involve the use of relevant
mathematics and engage the interest and enthusiasm of the
student. The concept of the exploration should be introduced early
in the course. Ideas for topics for explorations should be identi!ed
by students, in discussion with their teachers, as the course
progresses.
