We are following up with everyone in the Edison territories about the net metering
program. Are you still the owner at, “Property Address”-house # and the street?

This is in reference to the notices that have been going out with your most recent
power bills.

The ones that talk about the rate hikes and the upcoming deadline. Have you seen
those notices?

Ok, that is exactly why we are calling. Because of the wildfires, Edison introduced a
new rate plan, where the price of electricity doubles throughout the day.

This year alone your electricity bills are expected to have a 30-40% increase.
The net metering program requires us to reach out to homeowners with average to
above average energy usage.

How high would you say your bills get on the electricity side? Oh wow, ok. Are they
higher in the summertime or wintertime? OK.

The power companies have designed a new energy saving program for the upcoming
changes. The deadline to enroll in these programs is approaching this year. You may
have seen them talking about it on the news.

Have you ever applied for any of Edison’s discount programs?

Unlike the other programs, the net metering program qualification is based on usage,
not income.

Unfortunately, though, not every home qualifies. It does sound like you may be eligible
